I've been going to the Green Bean since it opened several years ago, largely eating the same chicken bacon sandwich because I'm a creature of habit. I've recently tried the pulled pork sandwich and oh - my - god what a world of flavour. This is seriously my favourite cafe in Ottawa and the best sandwich spot around, easily competing with Art-Is-In, Red Apron, or any other hip spots of local fame. I have tired several things since discovering this cafe, all have been very well made and delicious.
I have had their smoothies, oat lattes, americanos, homemade stuffed peanut butter chocolate cookies, brownies, and a cream cheese veggie croissant with bean salad. All very tasty!

Hidden gem for sure. First time visit on a whim, got the chicken bacon club. Generous portions and very tasty. Plenty of toppings you can add. It was heated which melted the cheese perfectly. Also grabbed a couple frozen soups, peanut butter bar and giant chocolate chip peanut butter stuffed cookie. Cookie was a delicious desert, it was too big to finish in one sitting. Looking forward to trying the soups. I will most certainly be back asap.
