Amazing service; baristas were friendly and helpful on top of dealing with difficult, disrespectful customers. Best macchiato I’ve had so far in Ottawa and the grilled cheese was delicious. Thanks again!

I usually love Happy Goat for the coffee and the atmosphere, and I’ve had good experiences at other locations. Unfortunately, this particular location was disappointing. The staff came across as rude, rolling their eyes when I asked simple questions. The interaction felt passive-aggressive and unwelcoming, which made me uncomfortable. I hope management can address this, as it doesn’t reflect the quality I associate with the brand.

Happy Goat Coffee Co. at the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa offers an excellent collection of coffees, cookies, and sandwiches. The ambience under the museum is ideal for chilling with some great snacks. The iced coffee is super awesome, and the cookies are to die for. The staff is always lovely and happy to help. While the service may be lacking at times, the overall experience is great. The location next to the National Art Gallery Gift shop adds to the charm of this wonderful place. They serve a great chai latte with a nice spicy flavour and a sweet aftertaste, along with a variety of drinks like buble water.
