So glad Kasbah is open again. My wife and I have been coming here for over 18 years. We stopped by last week for some takeout, and learned the dining room is opening as well. The couscous is without equal, and the warm olive salad is not to be missed. Needless to say, the service is legendary.
I am a fan of Moroccan food and sometimes even seek it out but alas most attempts have been futile in North America as in almost all cases I found either the seasoning is off to appease the western palate or it's the western interpretation of Moroccan food. Either way it's wrong! The last attempt in Toronto was so bad that I decided I won't seek this cuisine unless it comes highly recommend. This spot met the recommended criteria. The service is amazing but the food cuisine is not my type. I suggest at least try it once if you haven't tried Moroccan food maybe you'll love it maybe you won't like it
