Very good breakfast. Coffee not great and on the last two visits there were only one very rushed lady serving. Quite busy so had to wait a long time for service. Overall well worth visiting
Had I simply walked by this restaurant that actually faces on Slater Street, I would likely have kept going, but we were meeting friends who had been there several times before. It is a few feet below street level and so is not in an easy line of sight while walking by, but if you venture down the three or four steps you will be well rewarded. Quant little UN presumptuous restaurant attached to the hotel with kind and attentive servers. Living here all my life I never knew the place existed. Carrying strange hours of operation I believed I walked past this restaurant many times thinking it was some type of a bookstore or reading group locale. Fact is, it was quiet in a busy part of down during midday and the food was great. Neat little place worth a try.
