McDonald's is a 24-hour restaurant in Ottawa that provides convenient service, especially for late-night customers. The staff is generally friendly, with some exceptional service noted. The atmosphere can be messy and noisy, but many appreciate the charm of the place. The restaurant has evolved since Covid, focusing more on take-out orders and giving a "vending machine" feel. However, during quieter times, it can be clean and peaceful, and the food can arrive quickly.
The food is fresh because the volume is high. The staff are friendly, however there are long wait times and priority is usually questionable when it starts to get busy. This McDonald's is considered one of the best in the area, with the staff working as a team and the restaurant being very clean. The overnight workers on a recent Tuesday were amazing, patient, and helpful, going above and beyond in their service.
