“I recently visited Falafel Scoop in Ottawa, and it’s safe to say it exceeded my expectations. We were welcomed with friendly service as soon as we walked in, which made the whole experience even better.

I ordered a falafel sandwich, and it was massive and delicious. The falafel was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and perfectly spiced. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, and the pita was soft and warm, which tied everything together perfectly. The portion size was impressive—it left me satisfied.

In addition to falafel, they also serve shawarma and kabobs, giving customers a variety of Middle Eastern dishes to choose from. My wife opted for the chicken shawarma, and they served it in markouk bread, which was a great touch. The chicken was juicy, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor, and she couldn’t stop raving about how much she enjoyed it.

What stood out to us was the food and the overall experience. The prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and the service was fast and friendly. “Do yourself a favor and go get delicious food, huge portions, for a reasonable price. The saj uses the right type of bread, which is so refreshing, and they stuff them. Also, they pack the platter veggies separately, which makes for optimal reheating capabilities because you will have leftovers! You also get the added benefit of supporting local, family owned businesses.“

“I’m so happy I found Maya’s BBQ!!! I ordered a few platters for a teacher event and everything was amazing.
The beef kafta, chicken skewers, the salad, rice, and fries were so good. The falafels were a hit! The portions were very generous- overall, delicious. Even the food was packaged perfectly. I wish I took pictures but, trust me, everything looked great!
The guests were so impressed- they took seconds and some even took food to go.
Thank you Joumana (sorry for the spelling), you were so kind and helpful during the whole process. I appreciate it :)
I can’t wait to use Maya’s BBQ again for more events!

“This Lebanese shawarma vendor is located inside the Place d'Orleans shopping mall food-court in east-end Ottawa. We had a chicken shawarma sandwich and roasted potatoes with garlic sauce. Both were delicious - and better than at several similar other shawarma places in town. The chicken was marinated, flavourful and moist and the garlic sauce for the potatoes was extra zesty. Honestly i wasn’t expecting that from boustan but they just changed my thoughts about them yesterday.
They have a good customer service and best part is they doesn’t charge you for some stuffs which other restaurants would charge you .they will not say no to you but will let you know gently that it was extra but we are giving you ,so you can let us know next time before you pay
And food were good specially the amount of meat they give it’s fine to be honest ,compared to other places.
And you can hangout with friends here or can bring your family .
