Ottawa is sleeping on real Vietnamese food here. The moment I walked in and smelled the aroma of Phở, I could tell I was in for a good time. We were greeted by a lovely employee who was very courteous and sweet. The menu has items that are so common for south Vietnamese cuisine, yet so hard to find here in snooze town Ottawa. One of my favourite places to order take-out from! I know that their management changed a few years ago; the restaurant was called Asian Stars before. I used to love going there because they had dedicated vegan options on their menu. I was happy to see that the new management kept some of the menu items, including their vegan options. Food quality, flavour and presentation was impressive! We can tell the chef puts love into preparing the food. We enjoyed every last bite of our meal. We had Com Tam and Bo Ne… abundant of ingredients and generous amounts of meat and fresh pickled veggies. We also ordered Vietnamese ice coffee and fresh sugar cane juice… all delicious! We will definitely be back next time we are visiting Ottawa.
