“I had the best lunch today. I am not vegan, but I was travelling with someone who is, so we stopped for lunch. Not going to lie, I was skeptical as a non vegan, but I was shocked how wonderful my meal was. I got the Smokey Jackfruit Bowl. I wasn’t even sure what Jackfruit was, but omg if I didn’t live 4 hrs away I’d be back tomorrow to try the avocado toast, soft pretzel, the special tofu wrap and the mushroom Sammie. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be back, without or without my vegan colleague. Thanks for opening my eyes today to something new and really delicious!“

“We have been enjoying many meals at Berc’s over the past 6 years. We always look forward to our trips to Peterborough and Berc’s is always the highlight of the trip. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is always friendly and accommodating! The menu selection is superb and the soup, in our opinion, is worth the trip. In the rating system we would rate Berc’s at a 10++.“

“Located in a great spot, they have made the dining area in the back which is great. You don't feel like you are eating on a highway which was nice.

We had waited about 6 minutes for the 2 workers to take our order. Which isn't an unreasonable amount. The woman was super friendly. The workers and the kitchen were extremely presentable and clean.

I ordered the poutine and sausage. If I had just ordered fries it would have been a 5 star because the fries were literally the best fries I have had in my life. Perfect crunch, delicious flavour and great choice in potato. The amount of curd on the poutine was insane. It was covered completely in cheese curd. I LOVED that. However, the gravy (though tasty) was cold. I ate my poutine after my sausage, and the cheese wasn't melted and the gravy was cold. This was how it came out of the kitchen.

I wasn't impressed with the condiment setup. I'm not sure why, but condiments had to be requested and the workers had put it on themselves. I'm not sure if it's a quality control thing or what, but I didn't like that I couldn't dress my own sausage. When I got my sausage, the condiments were under the sausage, which had made my bun all soggy.

This is a 4 star review which I'm hoping to update to a 5. I would come back just for the fries alone if I gave a 1 star. THIS IS NOT A REVIEW TO DIVERT ANYONE FROM COMING HERE. I just hope it was the time of day I came (6PM) why these issues took place.“

“Kumar & Sydney made our Sunday lunch very enjoyable. A few months ago we placed an online order but it was cancelled because of no uber and they didn’t call us back, we waited well past the expected delivery time and then I called to find out what was up with our meals. Next day I spoke to Kumar and he apologized and said he would make it right. He did that yesterday. The in-house manager Sydney also was so friendly taking the time to chat with us and also going beyond in making it right. For us the wings were a good size, lots of fries, food was hot, beer was cold and my Caesar was great. Service was quick as was our order. Highly recommend in our opinion and so many choices for wings. Also got burgers to go for the kids and they loved them. See comments for photos I’ve also spoke with Kumar about getting a Wing House in the North East end as it would be a hit by Trent Uni.“

“I've been coming here for the better part of 2 decades. The staff are incredible, their service is top tier.. and after discovering the White Pizza I'll never do regular pizza sauce again. This is the meal my wife chooses for birthdays and our anniversary instead of fancy eat-in fare.. That should say it all.“

“I ordered the Mezze bowl, it's vegan but it usually comes with tahini and they add dairy milk to their tahini. She showed me a list of dressings to choose from with the vegan ones indicated. I chose the cilantro lime one and it tasted even better than tahini.“

“We had a great experience at this restaurant! We ordered the chicken fried rice, fried chicken wings, and beef with broccoli. Serving sizes are large; plenty of food and all delicious. The wings were perfectly crunchy, the vegetables were fresh and crisp, and the beef was nice and tender. They were open during the Victoria Day long weekend, which was a big plus. The owners are wonderful and the customer service was excellent. Highly recommend.“
