“I've only recently found out about this place a few months about but the food is absolutely amazing.

The chicken platter tastes so good I keep coming back for it. Ive picked some up for my family once and now they are also getting the chicken platter.

I've had some of the other chicken shawarma platters from different nearby places and Afghan Kebab & Shawarma is still the best.

If you're in the area and hungry, I'd really suggest giving them a try.“

“I recently dined at Bamiyan Kabob with a group of 8 people, and despite a couple of hiccups, we had an overall positive experience. The food was undeniably delicious, and the service was friendly and efficient. We particularly enjoyed the flavorful kabobs and the variety of side dishes that were served.

However, our dining experience was slightly marred by the lack of air conditioning in the restaurant. After a dance practice outdoors in 30-degree weather, walking into a warm dining area was not the most comfortable experience for our group. We felt compelled to place our order and dine in quickly to get back to our activities, which was a bit disappointing.

I truly hope that the management team takes note of this feedback and considers improving the ventilation or cooling system in the restaurant to provide a more comfortable environment for their customers, especially during hot weather. With a few adjustments, Bamiyan Kabob could easily become a five-star dining destination.

Overall, I would recommend Bamiyan Kabob for its delicious Afghan cuisine and friendly service, but I do hope to see improvements in the dining environment in the future.“

“If you're looking for a taste of authentic Afghani cuisine, Kandahar is a must-visit. It's my favorite Afghani restaurant. Their menu boasts a variety of mouthwatering dishes, but their kebabs and kabuli pulao rice are truly exceptional.
The service can be slow during busy times.
The freshly baked naan is soft, fluffy, and the perfect accompaniment to any meal. The white sauce adds a creamy, flavorful touch to the kebabs. Both the beef and chicken kebabs are juicy, tender, and full of flavor.
Recently, I tried their shawarma and was pleasantly surprised. The regular chicken shawarma stole the show, with its perfect blend of spices and tender meat. The mango lassi is the perfect way to end your meal, with its refreshing and sweet taste.

“The food was definitely out of this world! If you really want to taste the real Afghan authentic food this is the only place where you can find the same Afghani taste as Afghanistan in Canada! The best part was that before leaving the manager came and asked if everything was okay! In most Afghan restaurant they don’t cook and steam well the rice but here it was Superb. Kebab was really juicy and delicious!!! Give it a try you won’t regret it take my word for it.“

“We got the waziri and sultana plate and it was soo fresh. The complimentary soup was super tasty. And the chicken tandoori skewers were very tender and moist. The food was steaming and the naan was probably the best naan I’ve had from a kebab shop. The service was really nice and the chef came to us to make sure we had a good meal. The atmosphere was family friendly and quiet and it was respectful for all types of diners. I would definitely come here again. The plates came with rice and naan and a salad with a good amount of meat.

“I placed a take out order and was told the all the sauce was in the bag and when I got back to work they weren’t 😓. A little disappointing. The staff were really kind and over all the food is really good… It’s just a little too pricey for the portion sizes you get in my opinion. The salad was soooo small.“

“This place has excellent quality food and friendly service. I ordered the chicken breast kebab dinner. The chicken is perfectly seasoned, juicy and tasty! The naan bread is soft and fluffy. In fact, I can eat it by itself. The Greek salad is so fresh and I love the dressing. I like their Greek salad better than those at Greek restaurants. Overall, I am just happy to have a quality restaurant near my home where I can go to get quality food anytime.“
