“Delicious food. I ordered a chicken wrap and it was delicious especially with the spicy red sauce (salsa?) but it was super messy especially near the end. I also got a plate of rice with beef, and it was enormous in size but extremely delicious. I would recommend sharing a plate with another person if you plan to eat here.“

“I've been a regular customer of Madani Fine foods for well over a year now, the fresh daily buffet is absolutely delicious and the products are all fantastic, there is fresh bread and many other items. the service is great and very friendly . It's unfortunate certain political groups are sabotaging this business which supports freedom for Iran.“

“Went there for lunch on a weekday.
It's ran by a couple when we went there, they were friendly although busy going about their own routines. Didn't have to wait and lots of spaces there. The portion was decent especially for lunch specials that came with a drink. I would try again since they also offer d some specialty foods that I was not able to find in other Afghan/Kebab stores.“

“After going to their yonge and weldrick location for many many years, I happened to be in north Richmond hill (yonge and king road) and saw this other location! What can I say, very friendly welcoming service, clean organized interior and very fresh quality meat. Prices are average compared to the other 500+ kabob restaurants in this area but Taftan seems to stand out simply because of their reputation and large portion sizes. Today I got the barg (filet mignon beef) combo with rice and a side order of a chicken leg skewer. And hey they even threw in free cans of pop, lots of butter packets for the rice, packets of sumac (that tangy but distinct middle eastern red spice), and a pita bread! I’ll be sure to return again.“

The meats were juicy and flavourful, the qabuli rice was scrumptious, and the complimentary tea was such a lovely touch! I also ordered a mango smoothie and was blown away by how delicious it was. “I’ve been going to Bamiyan Kabob regularly with my coworkers about once or twice a month—for the past 2.5 years. It’s become one of our go-to spots.

The food is consistently excellent (5/5). The kabobs are always hot and juicy, the salad is fresh, and the naan is outstanding—served super hot, with crispy edges and a soft interior. It’s exactly what you want every time.

What really stands out is the consistency. Even after years of visiting, the quality has never dropped. The staff are also amazing (5/5 service). We go so often that they remember what each of us orders, which makes the experience feel very welcoming.

The atmosphere is solid (4/5). There are plenty of tables, so there’s usually no need to worry about waiting or lining up, which is a big plus for group lunches.

“Authentic , delicious Afghan food. Uzbqki palow was really good specially the meat! Mantoo was really good too!!. The food and service was really good , so it compensated for the atmosphere. Bathrooms weren’t clean , no paper towel or napkins to dry your hand. One day, afghan restaurants will learn to keep their bathrooms clean 🙏🏻“
