“As a long time customer of Big M since the previous, original owners, this was my first time here since the new ownership as I now live over an hour away. I was so excited to come here (not only for the amazing food, but the historically great service and atmosphere).

The second I walked through the door the whole vibe was off.. which Im really sorry to say, I had to bring my mood down when I realized the mood of the building. There were no smiles.. no how are you's from the staffs side.. just a blank stare from multiple employees. The man who gave me my order was quite nice, however. Thank you for being the only pleasant one... if I'm being honest the woman on cash was quite crusty, I was taken back.

The poutine as per usual was the best of the best... but... I'd like to note that a smile goes a long way! The sign outside says congrats for 60 years in business, and for MANY of those years... Chris and team always made sure the service was phenomenal. Unfortunately that aspect was a big letdown today, and I walked out very disappointed. People who have come here for years and years expect better... I know I certainly do.

Keep it up with the great food, but PLEASE improve your customer service.“

“So i found this place heading to subway in the plaza and decided. Beautiful dining area so bright i kinda want to try that. The other was working and explained they had 2 stores and used 8oz patties and fresh fries and i mean really treated me like gold! I ordered a crispy chicken poutine and a hawian burger only a mistake because the poutine was more then enough for a meal on its own. The burger was prepared picture perfect and i did take one. The poutine was nice crispy fries chicken so fine cut strips it was all soo good ! And the menu options some stuff i hadn’t heard if but they have mutton fries and chicken options as well as veggie and beyond meat i strongly recommend any of my burger loving freinds reading this give them a try you wont be disappointed. Dont shy at the prices you get your moneys worth no question! Its one of my top 3 meals hands down. Would recommend and will be by again even though i live 3 hours away😂“

“Great experience at state and main. It was a busy for the jays game and the food still came out right away. The food was great, they forgot a salad but fixed the issue right away, wasn't a big deal. I also think they gave us a meal size salad as opposed to a side salad. Food is always great there!“
