“Awesome fried chicken and great service!”

“This was our first time at the lock, some friends suggested we try their pizza. First of all the air conditioner was so high it felt like it was going to snow. The service was slow but friendly, to be fair it was quite busy and so we felt that was a good sign about the food. We ordered 3 pizzas and we'd rate the pizza a 6/10. Most likely won't go back. Gave 4 stars for overall rating because our server was sweet but gave service a 3 because while we were eating our food that took 45 minutes, there was another server who was stacking chairs and spraying tables, not the best atmosphere to eat in.”

“Was here for dinner and it was delicious! Classic margarita was so good! We started with chips and salsa, nacho cheese, and guac. Chips were warm and crunchy and tasty 😋. Perfect starter! For main meal I ordered spicy beef tacos and my hubby ordered fish tacos. Everything was perfect. All the sayers and toppings complimented our tacos perfectly. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out on some me authentic Mexican.”

“Minor Fisheries is one of My Fave spots for Amazing, Light, Fish & Chips. They bread the fillets, no heavy batter & fries are well cooked, skin on. Coleslaw very light. Ambiance beautiful, watched a ship in Canal.”

“Great little diner. Had the classic roast beef platter. Exactly what you think it is and did not disappoint. My wife had the BLT on rye. Also great. My son had the best massive blueberry pancakes. Check this place out if you're hungry in the area. Hooray! Btw, it's cash only.”

“We found this hidden gem of a restaurant on the internet. Our waitress Dee was our polite and the service was excellent. We would suggest that you make a reservation as it's a small restaurant. The decor is nice and the bathroom was very clean.”

Love the rice bowls. Tried the yogurt shakes this past week. Was a big hit! Highly recommended, they follow all the COVID rules. I feel safe”

We’d tried 2 others in the area but weren’t impressed .This place is exceptionally clean & proper protocols are followed for Corona virus. The food has been so nice & fresh . We had general Tao chicken , chicken chow mein , veggie fried rice. We will continue to order takeout at Mings . Thank you.”

“I went into the Subway on Main St. West in Port Colborne, just before they closed, and despite my very late order, the young lady serving me, Pri, was kind, courteous and very polite. She made my sub quickly and exactly how I like it. Her customer service was outstanding and I think she's doing an amazing job. Pri, is definitely a model employee and I think there needs to be more people, like her, working in the customer service industry.”

“Nothing against this place, I am from the city and service tends to be faster. It more seemed as if the place was understaffed versus the workers being slow as they were working quickly and were very friendly. Would still recommend coming for your tea and coffee as the location was very clean.”
