Wineries near Port Dover

“My friends and I visited the frisky beaver because it was a rainy day in Port Dover and we were looking for something to do and did it ever change the mood! The staff was super friendly And made lots of jokes about their “crappy” wine and beer

We each ended up getting a flight . It was great value for cost and they had the cutest “ business card” type thing for each wine which described the flavour and fulness; making it easy to pick what you wanted and remember what you got lol

The wine was super yummy! Will definitely be back for next year’s patio season!

My only comment would be to change the stools at the high top because you cannot sit comfortably due to the stool to table height ratio. And maybe some more decor to make it a little more inviting!“

“We recently stayed at the farmhouse on Bonnieheath. The whole experience was lovely. The estate has a magical quality, with romantic picnics set up amongst lavender fields. We felt very welcomed and really enjoyed the wine. Also - the cider is excellent! The farmhouse was very comfortable, lots of space and well appointed with gorgeous vintage touches of decor. Overall, I highly recommend a visit or overnight stay.“
