“I always buy my Mazza wine from the Zelienople store. The ladies working there are always very friendly and helpful. I use their Concord wine in my homemade Italian spaghetti Sugo. It provides the right amount of flavors. I've tried many of their flavors, and while I enjoyed just about all of them, my favorite is the Holiday Wine. Each week, I stop at the store and pick up a few bottles. The store provides taste samples so you can find out which flavors you like or dislike. It's worth stopping in! And don't forget to try that Holiday Wine! ?“

“I first tried their wine at a wine and music festival more than ten years ago and have been wanting to visit for about as long. Finally did and am pretty happy. I don’t think I’ve ever tried a wine there that I didn’t like. They are all light and fresh. You can tell there are no artificial flavors in their fruit or specialty wines. If I lived nearby, I’d be buying their wines often and exclusively. My rating is for their wines. The atmosphere? My rating would be about a 3/5. The person working was so nice and easy to talk to. He told us all that he knew about the wines and the area, and recommended that we come back in the summer to enjoy the deck. It is a very large building, which is great, and the deck is also huge, but it is very rustic and dark, making it feel like a really old dive bar, but maybe that’s the vibe they’re going for. A more modern rustic look and, at the very least, a good scrub/cleaning would make the interior so much nicer, in my opinion. Entering through the deck is so much easier.“

Courtyard Winery Winery • $

“Cute tasting room in Erie. Good wines and a large variety, something for everyone from sweet to dry. Exceptional people who do the tastings. I especially want to mention Katie! What a fun, happy, person. She really elevated the experience and was a joy to interact with. You can tell she enjoys her job and interacting with people. The whole staff is great but she was the one who had greeted us and she was a pleasure. Wish there were more like her!“

“Super kind folks who make awesome pies and cider. Their apple pie has become our new Thanksgiving tradition, and tastes better than any I've had anywhere else. Not to mention, the Peanut Butter Pie made for a nice little nightcap. Worth the drive to the country to support a great family and local business.“

Arundel Cellars & Brewing Co Winery • $$

“Nice local place to visit. Nice atmosphere. Really like that the restaurant is located in an old refurbished barn! Nice selection of wines, ciders and beers. Surprised that upon entering 5 minutes after the place opened, there wasn’t any available tables. There was a side bench to sit on. No chairs at the bar which I found odd. No table servers. Instead you place your food order at the bar and when ready, you get a text message and pick up your food at a table next to the bar. Did have a nice band playing while visiting.“
