“A large group from a hockey team showed up with little notice for lunch. They accommodated to sit down in about 15 min. Our server was very efficient. And we got our meals and bills paid within an hour so we could get to our next game. It's has great atmosphere right on the beach, it is $4/hour to park there. I had a Mango mojito, I would say there was too much club soda in it. I also had chicken and waffles, which was very sweet, I think it could benefit from something spicey to balance it out better. It was well portioned and reasonably priced.“
“I went into Ollie's because I heard that a very good friend of mine who i hadn't seen in many many years was a regular customer there. I tried talking to the 2 barmaids who were working that Sunday Feb 11th and explaining the situation but they weren't very nice or accommodating. They were actually rather rude so my cousin and I had one beer and left.Wheelchair accessibility: I was with my cousin who is in a wheelchair. We had no problems moving about inside the bar or the ladies room“
“I went there for dinner the other night and let me tell you I’m glad I did, I got there honey garlic chicken wings…they where delicious, my servers name was Hailey, she’s a gem so sweet and kinda made sure I had everything I needed without having to wait! “As a Vegan I was really excited for the vegan options offered on the website, well priced but had to find it online couldnt see anything on the inperson menu for vegan.The chick'n was not very good, looked like the real thing but just not good taste. They tried and I appreciated that. But I would not recommend that part. Mine was the Vegan Primavera, I will say everything else was delicious, the pasta and sauce fantastic and veggies, wow. Better without the fake chicken. ?The server was a bit short with me I felt, but she had 20 of use by herself and one of the cooks was taken by abulance during our meal so obviously she had a lot going on.Would I got back? “My husband and I had the beef vindaloo and chicken tikka masala—both were excellent, best Indian food I’ve had in years! After 20+ of living in Montréal, Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and UK, amazing to come back to the Wayside (which I grew up going to) and having world-class Indian food right here in St. Thomas / Talbotville!“
