“From the moment we walked in, the friendly cashier greeted us with a bright smile and helped us choose our meals. Her recommendations were spot on—everything was delicious! We asked about the portion sizes, and she honestly told us they were quite big, which turned out to be true; it was definitely enough for two.

The food was some of the best Afghan cuisine we've had. We will definitely be returning!

“Generous portion of juicy meats grilled to perfection on a fluffy bed of seasoned rice. Service was fast for our order for five people. There was plenty of seating available as tables turned over fairly quickly. However, parking was near impossible to find on a Saturday evening around 6:45pm.“

My dad's go to store and he never fails to mais us with his purchases from there. Has warm deli and all that any one household might need under its roof.“

What can I say, very friendly welcoming service, clean organized interior and very fresh quality meat. Prices are average compared to the other 500+ kabob restaurants in this area but Taftan seems to stand out simply because of their reputation and large portion sizes. Today I got the barg (filet mignon beef) combo with rice and a side order of a chicken leg skewer. And hey they even threw in free cans of pop, lots of butter packets for the rice, packets of sumac (that tangy but distinct middle eastern red spice), and a pita bread! I’ll be sure to return again.“
