“Have eaten here on a few occasions. Today my daughter and I were there over the lunch hour. The restaurant was quite full for a Monday and there were only 2 servers on. Having said that, we experienced excellent service. Our server was friendly and took the time to ensure we had everything we needed. My daughter had the havarti burger with soup of the day, and I had the schnitzel on a bun with soup. The food was very tasty and portions were a decent size. I would recommend this place for lunch if you ever find yourself in St. Jacobs. Don't forget to take your receipt with you if you plan to buy anything in the deli shop next door. If you present your receipt from The Grill, you will get 10% off your purchase at the deli shop.“

Very professional outstanding service. when we had our get together on Saturday. Everything was exceptional ,best dessert ever, would highly recommend . beautiful atmosphere. “From start to finish - planning our wedding at Abe Erb (Kitchener, Charles St location) was a very stress-free and wonderful experience. The manager, Tony, was very responsive to all our questions throughout the process, was involved in the planning and even helped serve meals the day of the event. He checked in with us occasionally on the wedding day to ensure we were happy and even helped clean up on the wedding day. He was friendly, organized and really helped alleviate any concerns we had throughout the entire process. The food and service was excellent on the wedding day and far exceeded our expectations. We had lots of room for all our guests to play games, dance or chat - whatever they wanted to do. We were also able to bring in any of our own decorations and table settings, as well as additions to the menu. We would highly recommend Abe Erb as a wedding or event venue!! “Rose Cafe in Town it is rare to find such a beautiful place, relaxing and tasty food. My husband and I go there for a date as it is not only food but the vibe is needed after a busy and hectic day. Yes the items might be more expensive than other places, However we should remember that we are paying for something unique, the place, the food. Highly recommended for relaxing and good food . “Very tasty; remained hot the entire meal; and portions were quite large. The seating is small--about ten tables seating four each and bar stools. The decor has a fast food vibe. Not a good for a romantic/intimate dinner. Dress is casual. A popular spot despite somewhat remote location. Reasonably priced This was our 2nd visit. Will return for many more meals....oh, and the panna cotta was heavenly.“

“For the longest time, my favorite pizza place in town was Pepi's Pizza on water street. They are still ok but their quality seems to have come down a little. We ordered rustic slice for the first time and I was so impressed! Good amount of toppings, fresh bread and the cheese makes it so good. They are my new favorite and now I even eat the crust! “This was the best and realest food I have tasted in a long time. I have two problems though, 1. The sauce needs more flavor, the tzatziki and garlic sauce are a bit flavorless and too runny. Gix that and you become the best doner place in Kitchener Waterloo. 2. Why aren’t you open everyday? Please relocate to a busier area in Waterloo or Kitchener.“

“The Works is a restaurant you must visit! Excellent service, delicious food, and a phenomenal atmosphere. A group of us had finished the 4th Ruhi Book in the main sequence and wanted to celebrate with another group of friends studying alongside us. We can all confidently say that we will come back because this is the place to be to be with friends and become closer. I encourage anyone who is studying the Ruhi Institute or anything else to come here and kick back after an intense study session. Shoutout to our waitress Victoria. She was amazing and felt a part of our group. She was so kind and was clearly working so hard with a radiant smile on her face. Today is a day that the 7 of us will always remember thanks to The Works.“

“Well everyone was telling me that they had the best calamari in the city. So I ordered and picked up an order. I got home and took a bite and realized that this dish will eventually end and I will be sad because it is truly amazing.
