First I’d like to mention that I’ve eaten here several times and it’s outstanding. I’d continue my patronage 100%.

A truly amazing experience. I frequent Ernie’s usually once a month or every 6 weeks (I have young children). And it has never ceased to amaze me. Tonight, I brought my cousin from out west and it was rated the best restaurant in the Sault by herself. She also noted the octopus the the best she’s ever had. Very well done by the chef and the descriptions and pairings done by our server Jack are unforgettable.

Ernie's Coffee Shop is a well-known place that offers an excellent dining experience. The staff is very friendly and attentive, providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming environment with a great vibe. The chef's skill is clear in the delicious dishes, from the mouthwatering fried chicken and the absolutely delicious chicken supreme to the fresh and flavorful Caesar salad, the best we have ever had. The Mary’s Blue Chicken sandwich and the best burger in town, the Ernie burger, are also fantastic. The ambiance is modern and lively, making it a popular spot for both food and delicious cocktails. While the menu may seem a bit pricey, the quality of the food and the fine-dining level experience make it worth the cost. The restaurant features a rotating seasonal menu with original ideas and inspiring ingredients. Visitors often praise the friendly service and exceptional cuisine. Ernie's Coffee Shop remains a must visit hidden gem in Sault Ste. Marie, offering a cozy setting. It is a spot that would hold its own in any city.
