“We got the rack of lamb "cook it yourself" kit on Friday; with the sides it's an amazing value and made an absolutely superb dinner. There was an error in my order, (understandable at 7 pm on a Friday) but the team went the extra mile to make it right. I highly recommend their meals for takeout, and I'm really looking forward to dining in on their extended menu when the lockdown is over.“

“Prior to the Leafs game against Vegas Golden Knights this past week we decided to eat at this restaurant. We were a group of 4. drinks were good, atmosphere was good too.
however, when it was time to pay, our server was not available so another server came by to take our payment. She asked me how much tip I'd like to give and i told her $38. she pulled out the calculator on her phone and said that's only a 11% tip. On the pre-tax total, the tip was 15% which was more than sufficient.
i was going to tell her off, but maybe she doesn't know better or is incompetent.
The owner of this restaurant needs to train their workers on why they shouldn't intimidate or bully customers into paying more tip than they want to pay.
In over 3 decades of visiting restaurant all across Canada, Europe and Asia, I have never had a server pull out a calculator to check the % of tip being offered.
I believe this server needs to re-evaluate:
1. the purpose of a tip in the food services industry
2. who decides on the amount of a tip for a party of 4? the customer or the owner or server?
3. Maybe ask their supervisor for additional customer service training.
4. their future in the food services industry.“

“We got the viral s’mores hot chocolate and it was so worth the price as it was absolutely delicious. The hot chocolate itself was rich and thick without being overwhelmingly sweet, and the marshmallow topping and whipped cream was perfect! They had an efficient system going so wait time wasn’t bad at all. Would definitely come back!“

“Super delicious food it definitely has a deep and
flavourful taste. The service is impeccable. All the waiters were very kind. The ambiance is calm and the decoration is beautiful. We had a few dietary restrictions and they respected it completely and made any necessary accommodations. In addition to that the servings are very large and filling. Very positive experience.

“This was my first stay at the Broadview. We had a great time! In town for a concert, I booked a room with an awesome little terrace and a king bed. The room was excellent. The hotel was awesome! Service extraordinaire. Great staff. Perfect location in a vibrant and safe neighborhood. We will be back. We loved our time there!“

“We stopped in for drinks late after dinner. This is an upscale place with lots of atmosphere, since it is located in the historic 1914 Dominion Bank building. It's worth it to come here just to see the architecture and detailing. The stairs down to the vault were near our table. The building is now an upscale hotel and residence. Our server / bartender was great and there's a nice drink menu. I'm glad we stopped in.“

“I have never reviewed resteraunts but this place was so good with their service. The attention to detail with what we wanted, the speed food was delivered, the overall ambience was great. They even remembered that I had selected "Birthday" as the special occasion when reserving on Open Table and brought our pain du chocolat with a candle on it! They also have a tiny key ?️ at the end of the meal to keep, the atmosphere was amazing!“

“Visited as a group of 7 to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Friendly helpful staff who went out their way to help. Food was beautiful. Everyone enjoyed the starters and mains, just all so fresh and tasty. Had forgotten how good it was, will defo be back. Amazing food served in a beautiful restaurant and lovely staff!“
