“For the most part, it is an enjoyable spot. Wouldn’t recommend the iced matcha and coffee, has an odd taste or just not flavourful enough. The smoothies are always pretty good with a right amount of thickness. They have a ton of different food options, ranging from sandwiches, flatbreads, salads, and much more. Recommend the chicken & brie sandwich, or the firecracker grilled cheese for a little spicy kick. Staff is friendly.“

“We had our first dinner at Maison T on June 25. The food was excellent (short ribs and duck breast were our mains). The service was attentive, prompt and very personalized (our son and daughter-in-law were with us and had dined there for their anniversary). Kudos to the excellent chef and Carolina.“

“Really great food, lovely patio, buzzy but not impossible to have a conversation. Very nice vibe. Menu is not overwhelming; the focus is on making great food, with a focus on French cuisine. Very good wine by the glass too, and reasonably priced. Since we discovered it, Parquet has become one of our regulars.“

“We got the rack of lamb "cook it yourself" kit on Friday; with the sides it's an amazing value and made an absolutely superb dinner. There was an error in my order, (understandable at 7 pm on a Friday) but the team went the extra mile to make it right. I highly recommend their meals for takeout, and I'm really looking forward to dining in on their extended menu when the lockdown is over.“

What we got:
- Mint & Like Jasmine Green Tea ($7.49)
- Fried Calamari ($17.75)
- Seafood Linguine ($29.25)
- Duck Confit ($29.25)

My honest opinions:
- The green tea drink was super refreshing! The mint worked super well with the jamsin tea flavour.
- The calamari was soft but slightly overcooked. The coating was very like and flaky, and paired well the 2 sauces it came with!
- The duck was super tender! You don't even need a knife to cut it. The confithad a great thick consistency that pair well with the bread and duck.
- The pasta was a great aldente and very saucy pasta dish! I do wish it came with more than a few seafood pieces though.
- The dishes were quite small for the price and wished they were a bit more filling.
- Told them it was my birthday and they decorated the Basque cheesecake and even put a little candle on it for me! It was very Instagram worthy!“

“I was travelling through Vaughn and I was looking for a bite to eat in the area other than fast food! Saw it pop up on maps and thought ANY place named Mom's Bistro should be pretty good.... Well here we go!!!
From the moment you step into the place you are greeted as if you have been lifelong friends or family! I mean I don't even get that kind of welcome FROM life long friends for that matter! Lol
Everything on the menu boards sounded amazing and the visible souvlaki with all the fixings tantalizing you tastebuds behind spotlessly clean glass. Decisions decisions.. At suggestion from my gracious host I decided to try the schnitzel sandwich.
What a fantastic introduction to their culinary options! I was in such awe of its size and presentation that I totally forgot to take a picture!
This is a true mom and pop owned/operated bistro and Im telling anyone that happens to read this to GO! Rather than eating around Vaughn Mills take the 10 min drive and treat yourself to enjoy a moment with 2 wonderful people who have customer experience and food service down to a T!
We need to support places like this because they are few and far between and struggle to keep their doors open in times like these! 🤩😍“

“What a great little place! My friend and I came for brunch and everything was amazing. The service was friendly, and the food was delicious. We tried the beef tartare, I got Croquettes Madame, and my friend had a burger. I’ve had better Croquettes Madame in Paris, France, so I can tell you these might be the best I’ve tried in Canada. The beef tartare was great too - honestly, I would say way above average.

Definitely will be back to try more things. Loved the vibe too. Inside, it really felt like you were somewhere in a little French bistro.“

“I visited Joni Restaurant at Park Hyatt last week, and it was an amazing experience. Natalia, the bartender, made the best Cosmopolitan I’ve ever had, perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. The beef tartare was outstanding as well, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back!“

“We had a great experience at Yummy Tummy. The interior may be a little bit uninspiring and divey, but the quality of the food and massive portions provide the main reason to visit. The pork souvlaki platter was easily big enough to feed two, with no up charge for a very flavourful Caesar salad. The owner/chef was quick and courteous, and I could see this being a very solid spot for a low-key dinner or night out with friends.“

“We were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the ambience and attention to detail at the Broadview. It was beautifully remodeled, but still had unique historic detail and touches everywhere. Our room was perfect and included a record player and a vinyl library on our floor! I appreciate things like the well stocked mini bar and quality toiletries. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. There was a water shut down issue on the street that was completely out of the hotels control and they compensated us with a discount, even though it was not their fault. It had really cozy and charming Christmas vibes too! We cannot wait to go back.“

“My husband and I stumbled upon Peter Pan Bistro after a long afternoon exploring the Queen West neighbourhood, and we are so glad we did. We arrived around 6 on a Tuesday and were seated right away, which was a nice surprise. The roasted chicken was absolutely wonderful, tender and full of flavour, just the kind of comforting meal you hope for after a day on your feet. The staff were warm and unhurried, and we left feeling like we had found a real neighbourhood gem.“

“Forgot the prices as the time we came was a big group. Despite the chaos (as we added on our order a few times), food was served promptly. Skewers was slightly on the dry end but seasoning was decent. My favourite was the tofu skewer!

Seating was comfortable and decently spacious. Staff was extremely kind and friendly - we had some popsicles with us and to avoid them melting they were willing to let us put in their freezer temporarily (and reminded us to take them when we were leaving)!“
