The place is pretty big and feels comfortable because the tables aren't crowded together. Nice decor. There's quite a bit of choice on their menu and the wait staff are courteous and fairly efficient. Some things I find I may like at other places a little better and they're also cheaper. But overall the food is decent. They do give a discount (10%?) if you pay in cash. The restaurant is in a plaza. Based on the reviews, Xiao Long Bao is a restaurant serving good global Taiwanese chain food and standard Shanghainese origin traditional foods. The food is delicious, fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The steamed soup dumplings were steamed perfectly, with a skin that was just right and tasty soup inside. The Souffle Balls stuffed with Sesame Paste were the best and could not be found in other places. Other popular dishes include the Stir Fried String Beans, Hot & Sour Soup, Spicy Wontons, Dan Dan Noodles, noodles with beef broth, vegetable dumplings, sticky rice, beef noodle soup, pan fried beef cakes, and tulip cakes. The jellyfish had too much oil. The restaurant is spacious, bright, and open, with lots of parking outside. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Payment is easy with cash or credit. Overall, it is a great option for authentic dumplings and noodles, and reviewers would definitely come back.
