“I've been frequenting this place for a few months now, and the chicken teriyaki wrap is verifiably one of the best things that I love to grab on the way home! The food is always delicious for an extremely good price and the cook is very sweet and always prepares them with care. I know it's too much to wish that she never retires and this place never closes but I will treasure every meal I can get from here until that time comes!!“
“I visit this great restaurant a lot! This is the best place to to have a good dinner. I go to this spot frequently. The cooking is of high quality, the workers are friendly and the price is good. I enjoy going in this place over a decent meal.“

“Sushi was made fresh, didn't have to wait long and the food was tasty! It's nice to have a local sushi spot, previously I've had to drive far and customer service was also nice.“

“Great restaurant! We tried the salmon sashimi and spicy salmon roll, and both were amazing. You can really taste the freshness and quality of the salmon—the sashimi was fresh, tender, and delicious. The spicy salmon roll was something special, with a unique spicy topping that added so much flavor. Definitely coming back! 🍣“

“I LOVE CAFE MOZAIKO.
The attention to detail on the sushi naming and packaging. Fish is always fresh and my personal fave is the torched sushi and tofu pockets. Would get these on repeat everytime. The location near Cathedral town is spacious for indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of drinks to choose from too to pair with the sushi.
If you love Anime and Sushi, this is the spot.
They even had a featured artist alley sticker area by the cashier supporting other local businesses.
Highly recommend!!“

“The Deluxe Chirashi usually contains toro, uni, and a piece of salmon belly (sometimes depending on availability). The last one I got didn't have uni :( buy the 3 pieces of toro really hit the spot and made up for it. The prices are amazing for the quality that you get, especially downtown. For higher quality than this, one would have to go to Jabistro or something and pay at least double. Too bad you guys don't have a more extensive sushi menu, with things like hokkaidon and sushi omakase of the best 10-15 pieces. If you guys were to have a nigiri sushi omakase, I would definitely try it out.“

“Happened to see the sign for this sushi place as I was going to the Low Carb store . It's a little hidden gem that shares its space with a bakery , the owner/sushi chef asked if I wanted to eat there and I said yes and to my surprise there was a little table that he cleaned and set me up . The sushi was very very good . The quality better than most sushi places that are in same price range , it was a perfect amount of sushi and sashimi. I will for sure order from this chef again . Wonderful service ! Most people that I saw were buying trays of sushi from him.“

“Really fresh sashimi and great quality! The staff were very friendly and polite. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but very reasonable for the quality you’re getting. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Would definitely come back again!“

“Amazing sushi spot! Our fav sushi restaurant in Markham ❤️ Excellent customer service. Fresh sushi and sashimi. Highly recommended 👍🏼“
“I have lived in Toronto for 20+ years and Sushi is not new to me. Solid 7 maybe 8. Service, when they are there is a 10/11. taste 7 or 8. Somehow having an opinion of sushi in 2025 is still rare. The future! We have only been eating it for like 20+ years. The other spot in Ghetto G is the Jamaican place. The really nice women make Sushi for sushi wimps but the quality is good. A little too heavy on the avocados. There is not a real Avocado fan base any more. That fad died hard. Green mush, ummm... yummy?“

“My family and I felt that this place wasn’t good when it first opened. I started going here again intermittently around 2025, and I noticed that their craft improved dramatically. It’s weird to say that this sushi spot is now among my favorites. Keep it up!“

“We live in the neighbourhood and this is where we stopped by getting sweet treats whenever we go for groceries shopping.
This is the second time we got takeout, I have the soft bone pork ramen and my daughter Hayashi Rice. We love it. Ramen are usually too salty for my palate but this place is perfect.
I can see that some people who I’m used to heavy seasoning might find their food a bit bland, but it’s perfect for us.
For sure we will go again.“

“Sushi Taro is a fantastic spot for fresh, high-quality sushi. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really set the tone for the entire experience. Service was attentive and genuinely warm, making us feel well taken care of from start to finish. The sushi was well-prepared, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Overall, great food, great service, and a place I’d happily return to and recommend to others“

“It's been a while since I've been here. Sakada is a small Japanese restaurant located in a neighbourhood plaza in Pickering. It appears to be family owned and run. Very friendly people. I was planning to order one of the lunch specials posted in the window but then I saw the All You Can Eat lunch special for $14.00, including a drink. It was too tempting. I ordered a mixture of dishes, starting with miso soup, green salad, and seaweed. That was followed by beef and chicken teriyaki, broccoli tempura, a couple of tofu dishes, and a couple of crab rolls. That was more than enough to stuff me! I'm no sushi expert but everything tasted pretty good. The teriyaki dishes were delicious and everything else was freshly made and yummy. The service was also quite good, especially with a steady stream of customers coming in to pick up orders.“
“I've been to Matsuda numerous times over the past 5 years ago and other than during pandemic when they had tables set up in their broken down parking lot with plastic bags tied to each table, serving food in take out containers and only serving cans of pop the experience has been great. On my last visit about 3 weeks ago they were open again as per normal with their lovely decor and great food. The only issue was towards the end my friend ordered a few more items and we waited forever for them to come - we thought they had lost the order so he put in another order of the exact same items. Again it was not delivered to our table so we shrugged and ordered dessert and was half way through when finally his food order came which was about 30 minutes after he ordered (generally food comes in 5 minutes or 10 minutes tops) so he had to eat it and then the second order came which he also had to eat. I can understand if they were busy and behind in their orders but you would think our server would have advised us - I took away one point due to that reason otherwise a great meal and evening!“

“My order looked exactly like what was advertised. I tried the “new tasting box for 2” there was so much variety, for anyone trying out sushi for the first time it’s a great place to start and for sushi lovers it’s the perfect platter. The portion size was so big, I definitely needed more than 2 people to finish it😅. I didn’t dine in but the restaurant was clean, had suitable seating areas and staff were really friendly. Quality of the sushi was great, would recommend!“
