“Stopped for a quick bite. Small hidden restaurant, but some good food.
The service was polite and family operated so they really put an effort behind the service and food. And it was great.
Enjoyed the food serving was good. Only suggestion, a few menus with pictures. But loved the meal.

“grabbed take out from this place and the first thing I will say is that the service was exceptional! With so many choices the gentleman that helped me walked me through flavours and the best combos. Because the I had not ordered ahead the wait was about 20m which was OK. Green chilli onion fries were really good with a nice kick and the spicy island flavour for my wings weren't bad - I would definitely go with something hotter. Parking here is a little tricky - not many places but it is manageable. Accessible by public transit and located on the corner of Morningside and Kingston.“

“I got the matcha shokupan, chicken katsu sando and pork katsu sando. The shokupan is to die for, it’s so good. The chicken katsu was more tender than the pork katsu but both were so good. The store inside is also super duper clean, I don’t think I’ve seen a store cleaner than this.“

“My go to place for getting last minute roti, chapati for past 20 years. They have reduced hours now (2024) but no change in quality. Don't leave voicemail, call during their working hours and you will be taken care off.. Large orders require advance booking. 3-5 pack can be picked up at moments notice. Always fresh/hot. “This is a must try, came 1 hour before closing but still received fresh poutine. Love the tenderness of the mutton. I had many mutton curry’s but this was up there. Not too spicy, but just right. Just enough curry, mutton and cheese. If there was a way to keep the fries crispy this would be on a whole other level but of course due to any poutine the gravy will make the fries a bit soft. The pink sauce he gives you on the side is just amazing.“
