Thai Catering has been my family’s go-to caterer for every special occasion, from my Arangetram to my Samantha Kalappu. Whether it’s their vegetarian or non-vegetarian dishes, every bite is packed with authentic Sri Lankan flavour. Satgunam Uncle always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect, and without fail, it’s a crowd favourite every single time. I couldn’t recommend them more!
Over priced food. Limited quantity of food and over priced. Recently I bought Idiyappam from Thai Takeout and it costs $5.20. When I asked for sambol, they are charging $2.50 for it. Ridiculous!
When I ran my RT Food Tour 3 years ago to raise awareness for the decommissioning of the RT, this was the first stop on my tour and was a favorite among attendees. Both their rolls and buns are delicious, regardless of if you get meat or veggie options which is great if you're visiting as a group with mixed dietary restrictions. It's also really close to Kennedy station, so if you want to pop out and grab a bite before continuing on your journey this is a great option.
