Twice As Nice Reviews
Update : located across the street now. Menu is expanding. Had two chicken dishes and they were excellent.
Good Jamaican food and soup but sometimes the wait is very long.
All dishes are tasty. Kingfish, jerk pork and chicken, and curry goat are all good.
Update: now going Thursday for the pea/bean soup which is great. Wife likes the callaloo and provision. Jerk chicken still great.
The owner hooked me up with a jerk pork peas and rice after a service call I did for their display cooler and man it slapped
This was terrible. The rice was clearly old. Lumped together in clumps of flavorless mush, the bbq chicken was SO SALTY and the coleslaw was sour. Everything about this was gross. I was able to get a full refund from doordash, thankfully. I do not recommend this place, there are other great caribbean restaurants in the area.. this experience was really disappointing.

Twice As Nice offers a mix of good food and service. Some dishes like the cow foot and goat head soup were a bit disappointing due to bones and saltiness. However, the oxtail is a better choice, with a nice taste. The restaurant is known for its real fried chicken and curry goat, which many customers find to be a taste of home. The atmosphere is unassuming but welcoming, with decent prices. Recent reviews mention that the place can get very busy and unorganized, with long wait times of over 25 or even 40 minutes for orders. The place can feel like a sauna when entering, and there is often only one person working at the counter, which adds to the delays. Despite the wait, the food is praised for its authenticity, especially the Jamaican flavors that make some customers drive from far away just to eat there. One staff member checks in with customers regularly, showing good customer service. Some customers note that mistakes in orders happen but are handled well, leaving customers satisfied. There are concerns about the rice being plain white rice instead of rice & peas, and the wait times are considered frustrating, especially given that much of the food is already prepared. Overall, Twice As Nice remains a place worth trying, but many hope for improved organization and shorter wait times in the future.
