Ordered 3 liver and onions and one roasted chicken dinners. By the time our food came (which was significant) the only dinner that was hot was the chicken. Seems they don't know how to balance cooking times in their kitchen.

Our favourite spot around! I get the seafood pasta every time. it is consistently delicious. Best homemade desserts and you cant forget the espresso martini. A must try.

Best taps, and best house made apps. Hidden secret is their covered patio

Fantastic food. Some great servers. Nice patio. Stayed out there even in a light rain under an umbrella.

We happened to be there when it was very quite but OMG....the food was delicious and the service top notch.

Dietary restrictions: I am celiac and they had many options for dinner and dessert. That was comforting.

We waited over an hour for salad with chicken and liver. We had red wine which we were not drinking but waiting for our food, one hour later( with a table coming in after us being served). We were told our meal would be another 10 mins, we said we would leave. Though we had not finished our wine the restaurant insisted we had to pay or they would be out of pocket. We therefore returned to our table to drink our wine. A waitress came and said our food was ready, we reluctantly agreed to go ahead with our meal. My beet salad had very little beet and the chicken was overcooked. My friends liver dish was good. I do not recommend this restaurant, waitresses rude , and blamed the ‘only two in the kitchen’ and we were not understanding

I love the covered outdoor upstairs porch. The duo duck is very good. I wish there had been a bit more gravy/demi glaze last time. The chocolate pecan tart, chocolate cake, and the white chocolate raspberry lemon chiffon cake ? are our favourite desserts!!

Way too expensive for the amount of food you get. My wife had the salmon .tasted fine but so small a serving the other ladies felt sorry and shared some of their food with her. Other people felt their portions were inadequate also. Service was good.

Such a quaint spot with its rich pub like vibe. Great front porch for sitting and enjoying in any weather. Great lattes and sweets. Did not try and other menu items but I’m sure they would not disapoint.

We decided to try the Elk and Finch for lunch on a weekday. Arrived about 1:10pm so after the main lunch crowd. Everyone was eating outside on a beautiful summer day, with about 5 tables on the front porch of the restaurant (was once an old large house I suspect) and 4 or 5 more on a side patio (where we ate). Shade was available all round. Our server was helpful, friendly, pleasant and courteous. I had the Reuben sandwich which was a classic Reuben with saurkraut, mustard, and melted cheese all on toasted rye. Generous but not grotesquely large as some I have had other places. Just what I expected and very tasty ??. Upgraded the side salad to spinach and beet which was also yummy. My wife had the special chicken salad in a croissant which was served nicely with tomatoes. Great beer and wine selection but we had corona non-alc. All in all a nice place to stop for a casual lunch and we left satisfied and pleased. Hopefully we will have a chance to return.

I've popped in here for their treats years ago, but never really eaten here.... until tonite! Gosh, I feel like I've been missing out! Who knew they had an upstairs outdoor covered/heated patio!
This place is huge, with many areas to choose to sit!
Drink choices were abundant! I had the roast chicken and hubby had a whitefish special. Both were good sized portions and great, no complaints. Wait staff was excellent, friendly and helpful with the menu. I would definitely eat here again!
Check it out, it does not disappoint ?
