“Walked in on a Sunday afternoon about 4 minutes before closing. After waving book marked it for a long time, I was so disappointed that I reached late and that they had just two flavours left. I picked them any ways.

Sprinkle - just a regular doughnut, thankfully made vegan. One bite and it bought memories of the last time I had this. Just as I remembered. Bang on.

Coconut Cream - now this was a doughnut that just blew me away. One bite and I was blown. Family had a similar reaction. The coconut cream was so soft and fluffy and just sweet enough. The coconut flakes outside provided a crunch texture and the doughnut was just perfect.

“I have tried five of Maverick's donuts so far: Cannoli, Tiramisu, Lemon Ricotta, Chocolate Peanut Butter and Biscoff. The donuts have more of a drier/crispier texture on the outside and a cake-like dough on the inside which is really unique. The donuts taste excellent with the different cream toppings. My favorite was the Lemon Ricotta. I also got a free specialty coffee because I spent more than $5 and it was a medium-sized coffee.“

But I saw this place from an influencer who did a series of videos on this place trying to become a "Regular" at the restaurant. Julia and TJ are the owners and the chefs and the servers in the small rustic beautiful place. And they are genuinely lovely, beautiful people with great auras all around. They went thru a tough time during and after covid. People like these should never have rough times. So go support them and get the Cutlet on a Kaiser with the Po-Do grape drink and show them some love!! <3“
