“We enjoyed our dinner last night very much! We had the green curry chicken - which was perfect at the medium spice level. We also enjoyed the papaya salad…not sure if the recipe has changed, but it was better than ever! And lastly the lemon chicken which was perfect as always.

Even with the excellent food though, the best part of our visit was the service. Taran was the best! She gave us some great insight, was lovely to chat with and was attentive throughout our dinner. We can’t wait to come back and hope to see her again too!“

“I always love eating from this place! I have tried the other Thai places in the area but they just don’t compare. The cashew chicken is my absolute favourite! And the portions are amazing. I always have leftovers for the next day. There is one particular Thai place in the area with the tiniest portions I have ever seen but I won’t name them here. “We had an excellent experience at Wind tonight- there was an unfortunate event of a medical emergency, in which the staff reacted with the upmost compassion and professionalism. The guest quietly insisted on covering the drinks for the people around them (which was so so so kind & unnecessary- but thank you ❤️ just glad you are okay), and Wind covered an additional round if we were interested, which was totally above and beyond for a circumstance outside of anyone’s control. My deepest gratitude & well wishes go towards the guest who had a tough night- that was so kind & generous of you, I hope you’re doing well ❤️ and to the staff who maintained a positive energy & professional manner, job well done, everything was handled so courteously & thoughtfully.“

“Thought I’d leave a good review, as the food and service is very good, but they seem to currently be very broke, as they’re going as far as to start charging 25 cents per utensil for non customers, and don’t even offer you bags anymore unless you ask for them.

Good comfort food, lots of customizable options, and friendly staff, and everything is fresh and made to order. My favourite is the number 2 Thai Soup, though the Tom Yum is also pretty good.“

“My daughter and I frequent this establishment and we have never been disappointed. The service is speedy and courteous. The food is very good in taste and quality. It’s very reasonably priced and the restaurant is clean and has a wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys sushi, or would like to try it.“

“We had a great experience dining at Young Thai Cuisine in Fonthill. The Crab Rangoon was a perfect way to start — crispy, flavourful, and packed with delicious filling. It had just the right balance of crunch and creaminess.

We also tried the Orange Cashew Chicken, and it was outstanding. The dish had deep, bold flavour with the freshness of real orange slices and a generous amount of roasted cashews. The shrimp in the dish were impressively large and well-cooked — a pleasant surprise!

The highlight for my wife was the Beef Panang Curry — rich, aromatic, and comforting. She loved the layers of flavour and the tenderness of the beef.

The only small letdown was the rice, which came out a bit harder than expected, as if it had been sitting too long or needed more water. A slightly softer, fresher batch would’ve brought the whole meal together.

That aside, this place is an awesome Thai spot and well worth visiting if you’re in the Fonthill area. We’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu!“
