“It was very good. My favorite Thai restaurant. The flavors are fantastic and hit every sense of taste. My only disappointment was that the panang curry and mango curry had almost no veggies in them. Usually there is a good array of colored peppers and onion in them.“

“We enjoyed our dinner last night very much! We had the green curry chicken - which was perfect at the medium spice level. We also enjoyed the papaya salad…not sure if the recipe has changed, but it was better than ever! And lastly the lemon chicken which was perfect as always.

Even with the excellent food though, the best part of our visit was the service. Taran was the best! She gave us some great insight, was lovely to chat with and was attentive throughout our dinner. We can’t wait to come back and hope to see her again too!“

“I always love eating from this place! I have tried the other Thai places in the area but they just don’t compare. The cashew chicken is my absolute favourite! And the portions are amazing. I always have leftovers for the next day. There is one particular Thai place in the area with the tiniest portions I have ever seen but I won’t name them here. “We had an excellent experience at Wind tonight- there was an unfortunate event of a medical emergency, in which the staff reacted with the upmost compassion and professionalism. The guest quietly insisted on covering the drinks for the people around them (which was so so so kind & unnecessary- but thank you ❤️ just glad you are okay), and Wind covered an additional round if we were interested, which was totally above and beyond for a circumstance outside of anyone’s control. “We had a great experience dining at Young Thai Cuisine in Fonthill. The Crab Rangoon was a perfect way to start — crispy, flavourful, and packed with delicious filling. It had just the right balance of crunch and creaminess.

We also tried the Orange Cashew Chicken, and it was outstanding. The dish had deep, bold flavour with the freshness of real orange slices and a generous amount of roasted cashews. The shrimp in the dish were impressively large and well-cooked — a pleasant surprise!

The highlight for my wife was the Beef Panang Curry — rich, aromatic, and comforting. She loved the layers of flavour and the tenderness of the beef.

The only small letdown was the rice, which came out a bit harder than expected, as if it had been sitting too long or needed more water. A slightly softer, fresher batch would’ve brought the whole meal together.

That aside, this place is an awesome Thai spot and well worth visiting if you’re in the Fonthill area. We’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu!“
