“My favorite place to eat in Milton. All the standard dishes in a Hakka restaurant are great. Chili chicken, fried rice and soup all great. Price is even better. Cannot beat value. Not sure why there are lots of bad reviews, i have eaten there 3 times and it just keeps getting better. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS WITHOUT TRYING YOURSELF.“
“We live in Waterloo , an hour’s drive from this location.Whenever we have the time or are in the area, we go to toss Thai to eat. They have excellent food, terrific service and you always feel welcome. I’ve been going to this place for a few years now and this is the place we go to most often. If you want a great experience, and fantastic Thai food, go to toss Thai.“
“When the Mohawk Inn closed down a few years ago, many of us were left without a local pub. Although The Thai House isn't really a pub, it does have a small bar. I think Michelle was a little nervous about us claiming the bar as our new local, but she was very welcoming, and the gang has been going there ever since. There's a reasonable selection of beers on tap, and the food is great! Give it a try!“
“Been there twice for business lunch and AYCE sushi dinner. Sushi is better than Thai food for me personally. Garlic shrimp and steak skewers distributed by the guy going around the hall are phenomenal. Once you meet him during the AYCE, don’t be hesitated to get some!“
“American-style Chinese food. A much more flavorful alternative to conventional fast food. Store ownership has changed a few times, but the superb value (factoring in quality, portion, and pricing) has remained consistent. The best place to check out their menu is their website. Their Combination Dinner ($13 after tax) is a great way to have variety - I ordered Combo #4.Dietary restrictions: Unfortunately the meat is not halal.“
“Had lunch there a couple of weeks ago. The place is spacious and clean, service was good. The food was flavourful. I ordered the curry beef samosas and the seafood laksa and my husband had then bbq meat platter (beef, pork and chicken). I have since ordered to go several times. Plan to go there again.“
“Wanted to give a huge shoutout to everyone at Georgetown Thai. I have been wanting GOOD thai food for a while now, and have been craving…. A curry and rice dish- and man did they deliver! The yellow curry was silky and spicy and so yummy. They’re food is so fresh, and reasonably priced. We had leftovers too, for today. And the hostesses + servers were so kind. The chicken Satay was AMAZING. It was cooked perfectly and was so tender. And the mango ice cream didnt taste like fake mango. And the thai puff was so light despite being filled with potatoes! I’m just a bit… blown away by everything lol. It doesn’t happen often, and I wanted to let everyone know! Definitely check them out if you haven’t yet! We will definitely be going again. Some pictures of the food when I remembered to take them!“
“Love the golden curry. I unusually get the golden curry with chicken, this time I had it with vegetables. Next time I'm going to ask for half and half. The sauce tastes amazing, just wish it was thicker. We usually pick up and eat home but this time I went with a friend so we ate in restaurant. It's a nice spot in Georgetown and service is good. Parking lot at the back is too small but there is parking on the street nearby.“
“It the best Thai Restaurants in Oakville. I have going there for 14 years. The service is top notch. Whether it dine-in or take-out. My most recent was takeout and the server was so professional and personal. She took a few minutes to ask a few questions and I realisdd we know the same individuals.Parking: Third Line and Dundas, Oakville“
“I don't eat out often but this is 1 of 3 go to places. I love their chicken pad thai.... it's different than regular pad thai at other restaurants but that's why I LOVE it. great portion as well.I use to go to the one at Appleby and Fairview but they shut down. I hope this one never closes!“
“I ordered the:General tao chicken - really good. All meat which i liked.Satay pad thai - really good, had a nice seafood flavour. Just portion size for noodles was smallCrispy beef strips - too sweet. Beef was cooked nicely though. The lady who took my order over the phone and served me was really nice. Their customer service was on point.Would go back to try other things.Dietary restrictions: Can ask for no nuts if allergic to nuts“
“Absolutely blown away by this place. We typically go to the Spoon and Fork on Trafalgar. However, they are really going through it right now.My family begged for me to leave a review. Food was hot and everything was fresh. We went during a busier period and not only was our table ALWAYS loaded with food; it was gone too quickly. (You would think that we learn by now). They replaced our plates twice throughout the night for cleaner plates which is honestly a game changer. Swapping out a soy sauce coated soup plate so you can start on the 58 Crabmeat Wontons is an absolutely game changer.Servers were great with refills and clearing empty dishes. We didn't even have time to help stack them. They had built in gratuity of 15% which I honestly would give more. We all talked about the food when we got home and the unforgettable service.AND THE CHICKEN SATAY!!!! Perfectly grilled with a tangy and sweet tone to it. The best I've had.“
