“Really great, flavourful food! Tonight, we wanted to try something new and ordered takeout from this restaurant. I got the Kung Pao Box which was very delicious, spicy, and fresh. My wife got Shoyu Ramen which she loved. My daughter got the Teriyaki Box, and she ate all of it which does not happen very often. The portions are just right for one person, and the boxes look really good. I will definitely be ordering from this place again.“

“It’s fast food so I wasn’t expecting anything exceptional but this was the best tasting tai express I’ve had in ages!! We had the pad see ew and the sauce was thick and flavourful, the beef in mine was tender and well seasoned. They had decent tunes playing over the radio which was nice too.“

“We have been eating at Sabai Thai for years since we worked in the immediate area. The food is authentic, delicious and the portions are generous. This is right up there with other restaurants in terms of menu selection, but they blow everyone else away in terms of taste and value for money. Mel and her family work so hard and give so much back to the food community in Ottawa, can’t recommend this place enough!“

Pad Thai, shrimp; "very" spicy and "extra sauce".

And, it's what I got. I'd say the spice level on their most spicy option is like a medium spice, just FYI. For me, it's perfect as it doesn't take away from the eating experience, it's spicy but, you get the full flavor of the sauce and it's delicious.

“This was the BEST experience I’ve ever had at Thai Express. We only ordered one meal to share, and she brought us two plates right away without us even asking. That alone showed she was paying attention.

She brought the food to our table, made sure we had all our utensils and napkins, and was just super friendly the whole time. While we were eating, she noticed we didn’t have water and told us exactly where the cups, ice, and water were. It seems small, but it made a big difference.
