“I stopped in for the 1st time and didn't know what to choose, but I knew i was craving noodles. They recommended the Shanghai crispy chicken. I asked for medium spice. It was delicious! Nice veggies were included! All fresh in under 5 minutes! The spice level was ideal for me - consistent heat, but not overwhelming. Just enough to blow your nose at the end of the meal and vocal chords ready to sing a steady soprano! Highly recommend if you want healthy comfort food! I'll be back!“

“This was the BEST experience I’ve ever had at Thai Express. We only ordered one meal to share, and she brought us two plates right away without us even asking. That alone showed she was paying attention.

She brought the food to our table, made sure we had all our utensils and napkins, and was just super friendly the whole time. While we were eating, she noticed we didn’t have water and told us exactly where the cups, ice, and water were. It seems small, but it made a big difference. Heres what i ordered:
Pad Thai, shrimp; "very" spicy and "extra sauce".

And, it's what I got. I'd say the spice level on their most spicy option is like a medium spice, just FYI. For me, it's perfect as it doesn't take away from the eating experience, it's spicy but, you get the full flavor of the sauce and it's delicious.

“We have been eating at Sabai Thai for years since we worked in the immediate area. The food is authentic, delicious and the portions are generous. This is right up there with other restaurants in terms of menu selection, but they blow everyone else away in terms of taste and value for money. Mel and her family work so hard and give so much back to the food community in Ottawa, can’t recommend this place enough!“
