“Had a nice lunch with the family.
We had a shared the meat platter (for 2) between three people and had some left.
Nothing fancy but a good variety of meets. Beer on tap is also nice.
Decor is authentic and pleasant, service was quick.“

“We came here with friends to celebrate their birthday. As a vegan with celiac disease, I didn’t expect to be able to eat more than a basic salad after reading their meaty menu and speaking to someone over the phone the day before the lunch. But to my big surprise, they made a special falafel dish for those of us who were vegan which was also gluten free, and it was BEYOND DELICIOUS!!!!! Wow!!!! We did not expect them to be that extra and we are so very grateful for that. Eating out can be so hard sometimes and we are so grateful that they were kind enough to put that much thought and effort into their food. Thank you to whoever made such an amazing dish - it most definitely would be a winner as a regular menu item! I’m also sure whatever they make would be delicious too as everyone enjoyed what they ate and the presentations were beautiful! :) Definitely worth eating here!“

“I’ve been wanting to try Bernie’s for sometime now and I’m sure glad I got to today. The ambiance was a delight, the kitchen was busy with takeaway orders right when they opened and the bartender was nice. My pint of beer was nice and cold and my club sandwich was over the top awesome and left me feeling full. My girlfriend enjoyed the burger — which the beef patty looked house made- and my Caesar salad was made with fresh crunchy lettuce! We’ll definitely be back for more! Cheers!“

“Food was home made and really delicious. prices were excellent. Staff was very accommodating as we were 9, including 3 small children. I would highly recommend this hidden treasure. VERY GOOD AND FRESH FOOD.“
