“Linda and I discovered the South Glengarry a few months ago, loved it, and have visited several times. Yesterday we arrived for supper and were warned that service might be a bit slow because they were short-handed. However, we were seated promptly, and served not only by the regular waitress but also by Abby, who confided to us that she was usually a dishwasher but was helping out in the dining room. Abby did a fantastic job, getting us waters and additional napkins and wet wipes (Wing Night, yum!), always eager to please and with a smile on her face. We were most impressed with her abilities and recommend her for a waitress position if and when it becomes available. And the food was delicious, as usual!”

“The view at the restaurant was beautiful and really enhanced the experience. I did enjoy the fish in my fish and chips, though I feel the dish would have been even better with hand-cut fries instead of frozen ones. The menu leaned heavily toward wraps, and I would have loved to see a wider selection of seafood options, especially since I traveled quite a distance to visit. Overall, there’s great potential here, and with a few adjustments, the dining experience could be truly excellent.””

We went in the bar entrance and asked where the pizzeria is and the bartender told us where it is but he took our order and placed it for us and then brought us the food and while we waited we played Foosball. When we got the food it was very fresh and tasted great!”

“Out of about 7 subway locations in Cornwall the one located on Montreal rd. East is my preferred location to visit! The store is always clean and well stalked. The staff are wonderful and greet you with a smile. They take their jobs seriously in a very professional manor. Everything is always fresh and the sandwich bar is well taken care of.”

“Incredible food at a good price. Choice of bread for toast, from scratch homefries (not frozen), choice of ham/bacon/sausage for breakfast. Best souvlaki in town. Fast service & warm hospitality. “We had the kindest, absolutely kindest server named parsnida (not sure if I spelled this right) at the subway on boundary road in Cornwall Ontario on the evening of February 11! She was so sweet to our family and our two little girls. So nice to see such caring and nice people in the world- I never write reviews but I wanted to for this one so subway could acknowledge how great she is! So nice to see!! Will definitely be returning.”

“Stopped here while traveling along Highway 401 toward Toronto, and it turned out to be a great quick stop. The place was clean, well-organized, and perfect for fast food without wasting time.

What really stood out was the service — the staff member working there was incredibly friendly and efficient. They handled everything quickly while still being polite and attentive, which made the stop even better.

Definitely a convenient and pleasant spot to take a break on a long drive. Would happily stop here again in future😀”

The selection of food is superb.👌 I've eaten everything on the menu and have no complaints. The salmon is my favorite, with the chicken burger with fries being my go to when im indecisive.

Every server is friendly and provides exceptional service.👍

The environment/atmosphere is also great. Modern and updated, The Tavern leaves me feeling full and satisfied everytime.😊

Keeping all this in mind i drive for over an hour to eat here, and i do it because its worth it.💰

“First time visiting this Casino. Very nice young man waited on us. Rode from Old Forge to Casino and arrived late. He was very accomodating in making certain we had something to eat and drink!”

“One of the few rare Tim Horton's with real Canadians working. Every time I come here, communication is in proper English, no messed up orders and food actually looks like it is supposed to be for today's standard of Tim's. Not the same quality as when Tim's was really Canadian owned but whatever.”

The place is clean, service is fast, and the food is fresh and consistent with what you’d expect from McDonald’s.
