“Linda and I discovered the South Glengarry a few months ago, loved it, and have visited several times. Yesterday we arrived for supper and were warned that service might be a bit slow because they were short-handed. However, we were seated promptly, and served not only by the regular waitress but also by Abby, who confided to us that she was usually a dishwasher but was helping out in the dining room. Abby did a fantastic job, getting us waters and additional napkins and wet wipes (Wing Night, yum!), always eager to please and with a smile on her face. We were most impressed with her abilities and recommend her for a waitress position if and when it becomes available. And the food was delicious, as usual!”

“The view at the restaurant was beautiful and really enhanced the experience. I did enjoy the fish in my fish and chips, though I feel the dish would have been even better with hand-cut fries instead of frozen ones. The menu leaned heavily toward wraps, and I would have loved to see a wider selection of seafood options, especially since I traveled quite a distance to visit. Overall, there’s great potential here, and with a few adjustments, the dining experience could be truly excellent.””

“I went to Mama Sues last week with a friend for breakfast. The food was excellent and the service great. The only thing I didn't like is when I ordered my eggs over easy and the came slimy. I ask the waitress to cook them more. The cook came out and told me i had to order over medium It was like they were insulted I'm sorry but I'm a paying customer and I have 28 + years as a server in the restaurant business ****Stars”

“Excellent chicken wings, canadian money at par on Mondays. Can't really get a better deal than that. Wings are big and juicy. Sheet pizzas from Brass are good too, meat lovers is our favorite. Decent price, even when not on a Monday. Atmosphere is as expected. A huge improvement would be to put some gravel down in the parking lot, so we dont lose a tire in the pot holes.”

“Incredible food at a good price. Choice of bread for toast, from scratch homefries (not frozen), choice of ham/bacon/sausage for breakfast. Best souvlaki in town. Fast service & warm hospitality. Chef is gifted & the waitress is an absolute sweetheart. Can't get enough of this place, breakfast or lunch. Be sure to bring cash (no debit/credit), but well worth it!”

“My daughter and I ate at This establishment for a more meaningful Christmas together today. We were greeted by staff and it was very welcoming. Al was great he sat us next to the Christmas tree and we loved that personable detail. Yannick was our main server and I have never had this great service anywhere in my life from a younger generation and he made the experience very special . He was super kind, outgoing and warm. Whoever his parents are they need to be proud of this young man. He’s a gem. Our Christmas will be memorable and we chose right by coming here. It was very intimate and the mood was amazing. There were many vegetarian options and the 2 mustards with the ham were so delicious. There was so many vegetables and fruits which makes me happy. The desserts were amazing and the staff sent us home with extra. My daughter and I were beyond spoiled by this culinary experience. We would come back to the restaurant for more special moments together. My daughter was so happy . My daughter is very into hospitality and is a teenager and she was impressed.”

“Stopped here while traveling along Highway 401 toward Toronto, and it turned out to be a great quick stop. The place was clean, well-organized, and perfect for fast food without wasting time.

What really stood out was the service — the staff member working there was incredibly friendly and efficient. They handled everything quickly while still being polite and attentive, which made the stop even better.

Definitely a convenient and pleasant spot to take a break on a long drive. Would happily stop here again in future😀”

“Yesterday around 7:30 PM, I stopped by this Subway and had a really great experience. The employee who helped me (I think his name started with P) was friendly, polite, and very welcoming from the moment I walked in. He took his time with my order, listened carefully, and made my sandwich exactly the way I wanted it. Everything was prepared neatly and you could tell he genuinely cared about doing a good job rather than just rushing through orders. The store itself was also clean, organized, and had a nice atmosphere. It’s not often that a quick stop for food stands out, but the combination of great customer service and a well-kept location made this visit memorable. Keep up the great work!”

“I give a five star experience for this place because it is one of the best Subway places I’ve been. The lady that was there is very nice, and works with care. The place overall is extremely clean and well maintained. Toilets are clean, no smell. Honestly, if you need to stop for a lunch, go there. “This wasn't what we planned for Valentine's dinner but we made the best of it. The food and service was good. We chose to sit at the high tops by the bar. The bartender apologized because she felt the service was slow but quite frankly she was running the bar, the high tops and mixing drinks for the wait staff all on her own. Taking that into consideration I felt she did an excellent job. My only regret is that we forgot our bottle of champagne but that was my fault!”

“Good Job to all of you that work here, you smiled at each other and at your customers, this goes a long long way in the customer service world, Unfortunately we are seeing less and less actions that genuinely look and feel like the people that are serving us care, wether you serve at restaurants, or gas stations, or shipping docks for that matter, or you are a driver like I am, smile first, most of the time it has a positive effect. “This was the happiest, friendliest McDonald's I have ever been to! I wish I had noted the names of the staff working this morning to give shout outs by name. Patient with little kids who were pent up from being in the car for three hours, accommodating to tired parents who needed caffeine.

The bathrooms needed a little attention, but we interrupted a staff member who was heading in to clean, so they were on it!

Next time we come through, we'll be back. Really appreciated a positive boost on our road trip”
