Java Hut Reviews
Amazing food! Offered gluten free bread so I had my first clubhouse sandwich in years (with real turkey too)! Gravy was gluten free and the fries were homemade. Definitely a must try if you’re in the area.
Waitresses are rude and found hair in my food and my husband found hair in his food we also pre paid ahead of time left a 15% tip we weren’t rude to anyone the young boy was very kind but the snotty waitress was rude and she smirked when I pointed out the hair rolled into my Finnish pancakes we didn’t get an apology we didn’t get our money back such an awful experience so BEWARE of this establishment because yes you do have to prepay and they can do whatever they want to...read full review

Java Hut is a family-friendly restaurant known for serving great home-cooked meals with large, tasty portions at reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and attentive, making it a welcoming spot for a quick lunch or breakfast. Popular dishes include the lumberjack breakfast and Finn pancakes, both of which will keep customers full until dinner. The restaurant offers an awesome out-of-the-way atmosphere that adds to its charm. Although the building shows some signs of disrepair, it doesn't take away from the experience. The waitress ensures that coffee cups never run dry, and the cook adds to the cozy hometown feel. Dietary restrictions are accommodated with ease, such as removing tomatoes from the Spanish omelette. Customers have found the food to be delicious and generous. An exciting addition is the gluten-free options, like the clubhouse sandwich with real turkey, gluten-free gravy, and homemade fries. The cold plate with dill potato salad, fresh green salad, and roast beef is also a hit, leaving enough for later. The restaurant is clean and busy, with customers raving about the pies, including banana cream, coconut cream, and blueberry cheesecake, which remind some of cherished memories. While there are some issues with the female washroom, the overall experience is positive, making Java Hut a lovely place to enjoy a comforting meal.
