Tim Hortons in Thunder Bay

“This evening, a cute little lady asked me to leave a review, so here it is! I don’t know her name, but the adorable moles on her face make her cute. I stop by this Tim Hortons almost every day — honestly, one of the best in the city with great staff.

The morning drive-thru can be rushed and rude. They don’t listen to orders properly, and I suspect the staff are under pressure from the management for timing. The food and drinks in the mornings can sometimes be below average, so I’m giving only 4 stars.

Evenings are a completely different experience. I see the evening manager vinot almost every day, and I like him a lot. Even when it’s busy, he greets me with a smile and by my name, which really makes me feel acknowledged and welcome. Last Friday, he made my Supreme Stack and, knowing I like cold brew, suggested I try the Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew, which this cute little lady made perfectly. Both were fresh and beautifully presented.

If you want friendly service, a clean store, and a homey feel, visit this store in the evenings — the staff are welcoming, professional, and always happy.“

“We were served by the nicest girl Priya. Excellent customer service. She suggested us to have lemon and fruit explosion muffins which turned out to be the yummiest and most flavourful muffins I ever had. The coffee was also beyond expectations. Highly recommended.“

Let’s start with that bun… sorry, artisanally torched bread. The char on the top half is nothing short of revolutionary. Why settle for boring, even toasting when you can have a blackened crust that practically screams, “We don’t have time for quality control!” Truly, this is not burnt, it is caramelized to the edge of existence.

Then, we move on to the main event: the roast beef. Oh, the roast beef! Thinly sliced and glistening with… let’s call it “ambition,” the beef looks like it was hand selected from a premium vending machine. Its pale, grayish hue and delicate cracks suggest it was aged, perhaps in the back of a hot delivery truck on a 2008 summer day. That subtle sheen of sauce and mayonnaise pooling on the paper beneath? A tribute to gravity itself! It’s almost as though this sandwich knows it’s too good to stay contained.

And let’s not forget the generous smear of mayo, lovingly spread in haphazard dollops that could have only been applied by a true sandwich artisan. It gives the whole thing a surreal, deconstructed aesthetic as if the chef wants you to question, “Is this food or performance art?”

Finally, the presentation. Wrapped in Tim Hortons’ iconic branded paper, the sandwich rests gracefully in what can only be described as an artful puddle of regret. You don’t eat this sandwich, you experience it. Every bite is a mystery, will you taste char? dryness? or a burst of tepid mayo? Who knows! And that, my friend, is the genius of it.

In conclusion, your roast beef Craveable is the kind of meal that reminds us all why we sometimes skip lunch. A bold, experimental take on fast food, it pushes the boundaries of what a sandwich can and should be. Bravo, Tim Hortons. Bravo.“

“This tims is my favorite one in the whole city. I love how helpful the staff is and how they remember their customers orders. I barley have to say anything and they just know.

“I always get my coffee and food from the drive-thru in the morning and I highly appreciate the girl name Simran works at the window . She did window very fast along with taking order too , so I asked my other friends to get their food from this drive-thru as it gets delivered quickly and it doesn't take much time at the window, so impressed by her hard work .“

Even though their space is tight and busy, every single employee works so hard and stays kind, respectful, and caring. “I was visiting from Toronto and the Tims from here is honestly the best I think I've ever had! Everything was so fresh and they really stack the sandwiches, the frozen drinks are perfect consistency, the hash browns were so crispy, the list goes on! The maple sauce they had is delicious!“

“I love my experience at this Tim hortons! I always order the same thing, iced coffee with sweetener instead of cane sugar. Sometimes a sandwich or soup. They always get it right, and sometimes they’ll have it ready for me while I’m still waiting in line. Really makes my day as a mall worker much easier. 10/10, my favourite Tim’s in town.“

“Great location with lot of space to sit and chat with friends or family. Had a great time at this store. Staffs are amazing , especially night staffs both Jithin and Jeff . Another added bonus is that the drive through is open for 24 hours. Keep up the great work 😍“

“Consistently bright and clean, especially since the renovation in 2025. I bring my girls for morning timbits pretty often and the staff there are so kind and welcoming to them, even when they’re pressing their faces to the glass case watching the timbits getting picked. We all know the parking lot situation can be tricky since the drive-thru lineup blocks the parked cars instead of going around, but if you’re going in, it’s a nice place to sit down.“

“Great coffee, pretty good espresso. Employees here are very friendly.It is worth mentioning that this is a hotspot for thunder bays most vulnerable people. The bathrooms here are this side of the town's new safe injection site. Be prepared to wait between 5-20 minutes to use the bathroom.There should be security employed at this location.This picture isn't a reflection of the store, the employees here make do with what they're given. And they're not given much.“
