Amazing cocktail bar, just wow!
The cocktails here are one of a kind. Must visit spot in Toronto. The ambiance of the place is very unique as well. You have to find the entrance to the place it’s via the ice cream store in the front.
Me and my husband found this bar looking for speakeasy’s in Toronto. Whilst the drinks were good and the staff great, we were quite disappointed by the term “speakeasy”. We were very excited when the confirmation email for our booking said that we were supposed to go into a yoghurt shop and order for number 8, because this felt very much like speakeasy’s we’ve been to before. After Seven is a speakeasy cocktail bar with a cozy, intimate vibe. The ambience feels like a hidden, prohibition-era world. Drinks are masterfully crafted, fresh, bold, and precise. Favourite cocktails include Ghibli Elixir, Cloudy Oolong, and Ginza Glow, which is like a twist on a dirty martini but very strong. The Cloudy Oolong is to die for, especially with the cheese foam on top. Service is super friendly and amazing, with great hospitality. The atmosphere is sexy and cozy, with nice mellow music, clean bathrooms, and good service. It is pricey but worth the splurge once in a while. Note that tables are placed very close together, which can be awkward for conversation. A reservation is recommended to avoid wait times. This speakeasy is a must for anyone visiting Toronto.
