I would call this a reliable, neighbourhood Korean sushi place. Range/selection of fish is adequate and quality is good. Sashimi tends to be cut thick. Service is attentive and friendly. Not too pricey. Decor is reassuringly old school. It’s great to have this place nearby.
Came in at 7:15pm on a Sunday (Dec 15th) and it was busy. Most tables were full; it's a very small restaurant. The waitress Minjo was overwhelmed but very sweet. She immediately let me know it will be a 40 min wait for the food and was apologetic. They had only one chef, back person and one waitress because I assume they didn't anticipate the Sunday dinner traffic? Fish is way fresher than all of the places i've tried in the area on Bloor, but the price is only slightly more. On top of that, the ambiance is very cute! New favourite spot for mid range sushi. Not to mention, the sushi itself is very well seasoned and has a noticeable but light toasted sesame aroma, plus the variety and creativity of the rolls is amazing - its just so good here!!
