I love this place. It's one of my favorite restaurants in Toronto. The food is always so decadent and the service is very friendly and, maybe it's because I'm from this neighborhood, but it also feels small town-ish. Amazing food and amazing service. The crab cakes were fried perfectly with the insides nice and hot. It was well seasoned as well. The tomato topping also paired really well. The Icelandic cod was fresh and cooked perfectly, the green beans and potatoes had a good balance of sweet and salty. For dessert they gave an ample amount of berries and ice cream. I went for brunch with a group of 10 people. We sat there waiting and waiting and waiting for food to appear. When it finally arrived, it was delicious. I had the quail, which was served with one fig, a small salad, and some mushrooms. It was tasty. Others enjoyed trout, omelettes, and crab cakes. Because we were a large group, a 20% tip was automatically added to the bill. Given the slow service, I would not have added that much if I had had any choice.
