Bold Bites Co. is a bright, cheery and unpretentious eatery on Richmond Street in downtown Toronto, close to George Brown College. The environment is super friendly and welcoming. The food is fantastic, amazing, absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. Specific meals mentioned include an open face fried egg sandwich with avocado, a side of deep-fried grated potato croquettes with superb house mayo sauce, the proud Canadian, an avocado sandwich, the beef bowl, and chocolate brownies. The kimchi is fantastic and the spicy options are actually spicy. The owner is incredibly attentive and gracious, and the staff are lovely, warm, engaging, friendly, and super nice. Service is even better than the fantastic food, with staff being very attentive and often offering a free coffee. They are also accommodating, such as for a gluten allergy. The establishment is always clean. It is a terrific spot for a fun dining experience and should definitely be on your A-list. Toronto needs more spots like this.
