The French toast was incredible, delicious and the presentation warrants one needs to go again and again. Second visit and both times the staff was exceptional and willing to please. “New Sunrise Grill is an absolute hidden gem! The food quality is exceptional, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. From the perfectly cooked eggs and crispy potatoes to the rich and creamy hollandaise and sweet pancakes, every dish was a hit !

Despite our big party of 6+ people the service was prompt and friendly, making the experience even better and the amazing staff kept checking in on us to make sure everything was up to standard. Our food came out quickly, fresh and exactly as ordered, and the staff made us feel right at home.

The cozy and welcoming atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to start your morning or enjoy a relaxed brunch. You can really tell this place takes pride in both their food and their service.

“Delicious freshly prepared food. Between us we had one fried chicken and one poblano. Both great. Good coffee too. Pumpkin spice marshmallow cookie was nothing special.

Took a star off as they seemed not to have enough cooks on for how busy it was, so waited about 15 mins to be served as they paused taking orders. This wasn't communicated, they just stopped serving people. Once another cook appeared things got going again. Then another 15 mins before our order was ready.“

“We had an amazing experience at Eggstatic Waterloo last weekend as it’s newly open! The food was absolutely delicious even every dish was bursting with flavor. We ordered the Eggstatic Steak & Eggs, Eggstatic Tomato Jacket, Classic Middle Eastern Breakfast with Hummus Foul Bowl, Blueberry Pancakes, and Belgian Waffle. Everything was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering great recommendations that we truly enjoyed. The service, atmosphere, and food were all top-notch. We’ll definitely be returning soon!“

“I tried the Son-of-a-Rise sandwich at Lazy Daisy Café and WOW!! It definitely did not disappoint. The sandwich was fresh, perfectly balanced, and packed with flavour. The biscuit was soft and buttery, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the combo of cheese and toppings made every bite unreal. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients because it tastes like a next-level homemade breakfast.

I also have to shout out Flynn, our server. She was genuinely one of the warmest, most attentive servers I’ve had in a long time. Super friendly, quick with recommendations, and made the whole experience feel extra welcoming. You can tell she cares about her customers.

The café is cozy, the food is amazing, and the service (especially from Flynn!) was top tier. Highly recommend!!“

“My friends and I tried their boodle fiesta and it was pretty amazing. Kare-kare is really spot on and special mention to their lumpia too. The place reminded me of what back home ( Philippines ) looks and feels like. We really felt welcomed by this place, they embody what really filipino hospitality is. “Excellent food. I got the pancakes they were great. They were fluffy and moist. I didn't even need to put syrup on them. They were great on its own. The portion size was great. My wife got the big breakfast and it was huge. I would definitely come here again. Great food for a good value.“

“Went to sunset grill twice in a week with my family who flew in from out their home county to visit.

The food is delicous!! They have assorted types of breakfast combinations. I would go for the waffles because it is what I can't make.

The lemonade should come with a side of ice like we asked because it taste darn good extra cold! I also tried freshly squeezed orange juice and yes they were freshly squeezed. Can tell by how it taste.

The sausages are just right, home fries are either super soft or crispy both are good but never know which texture you will get unless requested.

My trick is with home fries is if you go with family don't bother ordsring because there will be so much home fries ordered from your other family members might as well share! The portion of home fries are gigantic!!

Coffee is bottomless and choices of 2%milk or dairy creamer.

Coleslaw needs a lil more zing and time to marinade but other wise a good side dish with the hamburgers.“

They were both tasty but a little on the expensive side for simple sandwiches. The food was good so we’ll visit again and definitely recommend to others.“

“October 19, 2025. We have been back to Boom many times over the past several years. Have tried other breakfast/lunch restaurants but none compare to the QUALITY of the food. Always so fresh and plentiful. Excellent service and friendly vibe. Love it here ! We were there this morning and my granddaughter always loves the food. As does her dad. Thank you again Boom. Just thought I’d chime in about my experience at Boom Breakfast at the College Street location. I have been to all of the locations and today I decided to go to College. What a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was attentive and always smiling. My food, as usual was delicious. I love the Eggs Florentine - but today I felt like having the Banana Granola pancakes. So delicious ! My grand daughter loves them too. Such a great place to have breakfast or lunch. We are back on Sunday !! See you soon Boom !!! Thanks again!!!“

The place has more of a cozy diner vibe, but the quality of the food and service truly stands out. The staff went above and beyond both times I visited. Pizza in a breakfast place ? And it’s very very expensive $20 for that small portion! Why? And it doesn’t taste good
The combination doesn’t match and it’s PRICY whats wrong with these people ?
If I want to eat Pizza I go to Pizza Hut not Cora and I pay less money and het larger pizza

The fruit waffle was very tasty the crepe also was delicious
We loved the smoothie kale mango ball and also the western and goat cheese bacon omelette
The buckwheat crepes were amazing as well especially the gourmet with bacon and English cream
