My oldest brother lives in the neighborhood and this is by far one of his fav's. Over the holidays all my family was in town and we all met there for dinner. Wow!! It was fantastic!! The ambiance was welcoming, staff were very attentive, polite and helpful. Food was delicious!!

I ordered the funghi pizza, the truth is it is not as good as I expected, it seemed a bit greasy. The service is impeccable

This restaurant doesn't get the credit it deserves. One of the best Italian restaurants in the city. I often bring people here as Cabbagetown doesn't have many options and they are always amazed

Dined in for lunch. Half cooked pasta sauce and half baked pizza. Could taste the raw tomato. Server was like whatever.

It’s rare for me to post a bad restaurant review, but F’Amelia’s just doesn’t cut it for me. Not a good vibe here at all. The service was painfully slow and unfriendly, the food below average, the portions small and the price high. Just not good value. The arugula salad was yellow and old. Yuk! The bolognese sauce was good but the pasta noodles were not. For $32 I expected a generous bowl of fresh pasta. It was a small portion and it was under cooked. I like my pasta al dente, but my noodles tasted raw. Definitely dry, packaged pasta. We won’t be returning.
If you want great pasta, try Gio Rana’s at Queen/Leslie. A bowl of delicious house-made pasta for $18-$20, great atmosphere and friendly, attentive service.

As always, excellent pizza, appetizers, desserts and drinks!!! The pizza at F'Amelia is one of my favorites in the city. Thin crust, delicious options, and they're very flexible if you need to make changes.

F'Amelia and Tanya hosted my birthday party for 25 guests. They did a great job, all the guests were well looked after.

To begin, the food was excellent and the wine was great. I also enjoyed the service from the staff, and the experience overall was pleasant. This restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and is a wonderful Italian spot for Toronto. However, it was disappointing when the waiter who was serving my table mentioned that we should leave at least a 15% gratuity. We were a little thrown aback as we have always tipped the waitstaff as much as we could afford at the time. Unsure of where this comment had come from, I tipped 18% for reasons listed above. Yet, another member at the table tipped $1.50 short of 15%. To which the server noted that their tip was under the 15% they had asked for earlier. The server was slightly upset at the fact and this left me confused and disappointed. I always find it in bad taste when servers pressure customers to tip. It should not be explicitly stated, especially to those who come often and have a record of tipping regularly. The economy is rough on all of us right now and as much as I understand the need for businesses to make a profit at this time, especially ones as great as F'amelia, it should also be noted that everyone, including consumers are struggling as well. Dining experiences should not, in my opinion, be exclusive to those who can provide grandiose tips. Those who still go out, such as I, do our best to give what we can alongside the cost of the bill on its own. I really hope this message comes across as constructive and not demeaning.

F'Amelia is a home away from home. You are greeted with warmth. The menu is beautifully-curated, including comforting, delicious and unique options. Each dish is perfectly balanced, letting the often-seasonal ingredients shine. If love is in the details, then F'Amelia is all love. F'Amelia is, indeed, family.
