“I had a great experience at Pampangueña on Wilson Street! The food tasted authentically Filipino, especially the classics—rich flavors, generous portions, and that comforting home-style taste. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the service felt very personal.
The place can get a bit busy at times, but the overall atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Definitely a go-to spot if you’re craving real Filipino dishes in Toronto. I’ll happily come back to try more from their menu!“

“I ordered here for our work potluck at 911 Emergency Services for peel and halton region, everyone loved their food. Delicious taste that reminds me of back home in the Philippines. If you want delicious authentic extremely affordable food with huge servings, come to Batibot. Their pork adobo, lumpia and leche flan are my favourites!!! First responders raved about their lumpia also. Leche flan is super creamy, tastes like crème brule. So yummy! 😋 ❤️❤️❤️❤️“

“I’ve been waiting for good elevated Filipino cuisine and it’s finally here! Traditional ingredients and flavours mixed in with modern twists. All the plates were surprising yet nostalgic at the same time. Dishes were served by the chef himself too. My only critique was the crispy pata skin was a tad tough but this is an easy fix. As a Filipino I’m glad to see our cuisine highlighted in fine dining. Can’t wait to see more from Kusinero.“

“The food was delicious—especially the sinigang and pancit! The adobo was rich and flavorful, and the lechon kawali was perfectly crispy. Portions were generous and prices reasonable. It’s worth the wait for authentic Filipino flavors. It felt like a home-cooked Filipino meal. Staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Will definitely be back!“

“We hired Perlas de Pilipinas Catering for my daughter’s first birthday, and they absolutely exceeded all our expectations! From the very beginning, their team was professional, accommodating, and so easy to work with. The food was nothing short of amazing—every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. I received so many compliments from our guests saying how delicious the food was, with many asking who the caterer was so they could book them too! “I had a wonderful time yesterday at Kanto by Tita Flips! It was an honour to meet the owner herself, Tita Flips!!! They are so friendly, very accommodating, and the food was amazing!!! “I just recently discovered this place, and I’ve already eaten here two days in a row—it’s that good! The food is incredibly authentic and comforting, like something straight out of a Filipino home kitchen. Every bite brought back memories, and it honestly just hits the spot.
The owner is so pleasant and kind. On top of that, the food is very affordable, good portions, amazing flavor, and so much heart.

“My friends and I tried their boodle fiesta and it was pretty amazing. Kare-kare is really spot on and special mention to their lumpia too. The place reminded me of what back home ( Philippines ) looks and feels like. We really felt welcomed by this place, they embody what really filipino hospitality is. As a chef I would say their food is one of the best filipino food I've tasted here in Toronto and as a fellow kabayan I will always come back to this place and support you guys. Much love!!!! 💯♥️“

“A unforgettable dining experience last 07/04/25 (Friday)! Shoutout to Chef/Owner Danny Cancino and his team for an impeccable service! 👏 Every dish and the complimentary additions were phenomenal! The modern twist in Filipino cuisine was definitely well done!💖🌟 Here are some of my standout favorites 🤯: • Pineapple + Kombu (Seaweed): Refreshing and light, with crispy seaweed balancing the sweet, citrusy pineapple 💛 • Duck Ensaymada w/ Duck Prosciutto and Truffle Butter: One of the fluffiest breads I’ve ever had, inspired by classic ensaymada. Spreading truffle butter on it was chef’s kiss—it melts in your mouth! 😭👌 • Scallop Inari Lumpia: Beautifully presented with fried sushi rice, ginger-chili dressed Argentinian shrimp, and seared scallop on top. The rice was fluffy and so tasty I could eat it endlessly! • Iberico Pork Collar: Juicy, saucy, and umami-packed tender pork with chicharon, lettuce leaves, and sesame aioli. The pickled papaya (atchara) was a nice touch—I don’t usually eat atchara, but I loved it with this! • Beef Short Rib Kare-Kare: The star of the show! 🌟👏 Rich, classic kare-kare flavors with blanched bok choy and eggplant.
