“A unforgettable dining experience last 07/04/25 (Friday)! Shoutout to Chef/Owner Danny Cancino and his team for an impeccable service! 👏 Every dish and the complimentary additions were phenomenal! The modern twist in Filipino cuisine was definitely well done!💖🌟 Here are some of my standout favorites 🤯: • Pineapple + Kombu (Seaweed): Refreshing and light, with crispy seaweed balancing the sweet, citrusy pineapple 💛 • Duck Ensaymada w/ Duck Prosciutto and Truffle Butter: One of the fluffiest breads I’ve ever had, inspired by classic ensaymada. Spreading truffle butter on it was chef’s kiss—it melts in your mouth! 😭👌 • Scallop Inari Lumpia: Beautifully presented with fried sushi rice, ginger-chili dressed Argentinian shrimp, and seared scallop on top. The rice was fluffy and so tasty I could eat it endlessly! • Iberico Pork Collar: Juicy, saucy, and umami-packed tender pork with chicharon, lettuce leaves, and sesame aioli. The pickled papaya (atchara) was a nice touch—I don’t usually eat atchara, but I loved it with this! • Beef Short Rib Kare-Kare: The star of the show! 🌟👏 Rich, classic kare-kare flavors with blanched bok choy and eggplant. “Catering order was delicious for a large birthday party. Everyone loved the authentic, tasty and good quality food. They especially were fans of the BBQ chicken and garlic fried rice. There were a couple hurdles with the communication of the order, but ultimately we were very happy with the order and will order again and recommend!“

“My friends and I tried their boodle fiesta and it was pretty amazing. Kare-kare is really spot on and special mention to their lumpia too. The place reminded me of what back home ( Philippines ) looks and feels like. We really felt welcomed by this place, they embody what really filipino hospitality is. “Still the best lechon for me. We’ve been coming here since the 90’s. Even when I lived in Ohio for 20 years. Still go there now that I’m back. Too bad that mang Bernard’s health has not been good due to age at 91 and bad health for a long while now.“

“I ordered here for our work potluck at 911 Emergency Services for peel and halton region, everyone loved their food. Delicious taste that reminds me of back home in the Philippines. If you want delicious authentic extremely affordable food with huge servings, come to Batibot. Their pork adobo, lumpia and leche flan are my favourites!!! First responders raved about their lumpia also. Leche flan is super creamy, tastes like crème brule. So yummy! 😋 ❤️❤️❤️❤️“

“The food was delicious—especially the sinigang and pancit! The adobo was rich and flavorful, and the lechon kawali was perfectly crispy. Portions were generous and prices reasonable. It’s worth the wait for authentic Filipino flavors. It felt like a home-cooked Filipino meal. Staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Will definitely be back!“

“I had a wonderful time yesterday at Kanto by Tita Flips! It was an honour to meet the owner herself, Tita Flips!!! They are so friendly, very accommodating, and the food was amazing!!! Thank you Riza, who took care of us. And of course Tita Flips, who came to see us before she prepared our 3 course meal. Highly recommended for those of you foodie peeps out there! Experience their delicious meals and the traditional Filipino hospitality first hand. I will definitely come back for more!!!“

“I just recently discovered this place, and I’ve already eaten here two days in a row—it’s that good! The food is incredibly authentic and comforting, like something straight out of a Filipino home kitchen. Every bite brought back memories, and it honestly just hits the spot.

The owner is so pleasant and kind. On top of that, the food is very affordable, good portions, amazing flavor, and so much heart.

“Good value through the Too Good to Go app but was a bit disappointed by the food after unpacking it. The pork was pretty tasty, but I wasn't a fan of the bitter melon. I wasn't too big on being given actual scraps either. Overall, I thought the owners were quite cordial, but I expected more out of the food. I don't think I'll be coming back again.“
