Excellent dining experience at George with their 5 course tasting menu. Staff were very attentive (we had booked a private room) and restaurant had a mature and cool atmosphere.Highlights were the beef tartare and sirloin. The tartare had a very unique blend of flavours and textures that really elevated the dish; unlike any tartare I’ve had before. The beef tenderloin was the shining star however. The potato pave had such a nice sweetness to it to accompany perfectly cooked beef.

George restaurant was definitely an incredible experience for me. Each dish was very unique and well explained by our waiter. They were also very accomodating to my allergy requests. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to try an upscale Canadian tasting menu!

Nice atmosphere. Food came with good presentation but taste wise was okay. Every dish was brought to the table by a staff with a bit introduction to the dish but no further elaboration if you asked for more details/clarification. Overall a good trial, but a place you would like to go often.

Did the 7 course Signature Tasting menu. The dishes are different for each person so we really tried 14 courses. Each dish was well thought and integrated with a variety of elements. The servers go through and explain in detail when they bring the dish. There’s an option to add wine pairing as well.Their gelato is worth the add on! Lots of flavors and made in house!

Highly recommend the signature tasting menu which is available in five, seven, or ten courses. The seven-course tasting menu for two people was 14 DIFFERENT dishes, plus two different amuse-bouches! It was a unique dining experience and it's well worth it for a special occasion dinner. Amazing food, beautiful presentation, and it was a filling meal. Menu standouts include the foie gras, tuna tartare, and scallop ceviche. I'm still thinking about that foie gras -- such a rich and buttery flavour. There is also a vegetarian signature tasting menu and an à la carte menu. The only downside was that we didn't know that they charge $5 for bread until we got the bill.

Insanely mid, out of the 20 dishes, at most 4 were memorable.

We sat near the kitchen. Chefs were swearing at each other. Staff were nice but lacked knowledge. Food was good but not great. Another restaurant pretending to be tier 1, charging as if they were but being second rate.

I had an incredible dining experience at George. The tasting menus are a must-try. Their exceptional accommodation of allergies adds to the overall fantastic experience. Undoubtedly, one of Toronto's best restaurant that you shouldn't miss when in the city.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, dairy free.

Incredible 5-course tasting menu - 3 of us selected the veg option (there's also vegan), 1 went for meat. The chef accommodates preferences (e.g., no cheese for the veg) and each dish was a lovely surprise. We enjoyed sharing tastes of our food - everything was so different and delicious. Our server, Kimberley, could not have been more delightful - she helped make the meal unforgettable! Cozy ambiance, no loud music - we could actually hear each other talk!

Exceptional tasting menu and wine pairing. Clearly a deep cellar thoughtfully integrated with the creative and satisfying dishes. Five courses were supremely satisfying but the ten is so tempting. Will have to come back when I have four hours to indulge. Highlights include the tuna tartare, foie gras, ribeye, and venison in the comfy and cool French bistro vibe.
