Well once again I felt I was in Japan. It’s clear that this is one brand that takes its bakes seriously.
In fact they claim they have a unique recipe that it's hard to replicate, the trick is in achieving the airiness of the dough and then filling the buns with a light custard cream at the right time.
The result is a fantastic combination.

Cute but the Matcha Annin Tofu does not taste like matcha at all. It’s more almond tasting than anything. It has this medicine like smell to it. 10/10 won’t recommend the matcha annin tofu. BUT the Hojicha one was a good save 7/10
Stopped in to try some of the cream buns and ended up ordering a sandwich as well. I was disappointed that the custard cream was sold out for the day, but the milk cream bun was incredible regardless. Perfectly light and not overly sweet. The egg salad sandwich was delicious and the milk bread super fresh and fluffy! Looking forward to coming back to try more.
