“I love açai bowls. I eat them everywhere I go and when I see a sign that says “BEST Açai bowl in the GTA” I have to try it out.
And you know what, it didn’t disappoint.
The bowl I had was the just the right amount of açai and a really great in house made granola flake and Nutella like product, with coconut flakes and banana. It was just the right combination of sweet with crunchy.

It’s a must try if you haven’t had the chance and honestly you never feel guilty about eating an Açai bowl.“

The Chicken Shawarma Bowl, Steak Salad, and Mexican Black Bean Bowl are my top picks—great for keeping on track with my macros and always delicious. Ordering through the app is simple and reliable, and my orders have been spot-on every time. The staff are very friendly, and the location in Union Station’s food court makes it incredibly convenient.“

“I got the build-your-own bowl with black rice, five toppings and poke salmon. It was my first time trying black rice in a poke bowl and it tasted like sticky rice. Besides, they also had sweet potato noodles and quinoa as base options which is not common to see in a poke bowl. The toppings and salmon were fresh and the portions were fair. ?“

She has recommended a famous and popular maple cup, and has so many fresh options and substitutes. It is very much worth the price to eat something fresh, locally sourced and made, right in the morning to start my day. And of course, I get to support Mona!

Thanks Mona!!“

“About us:
We go eating out in different restaurants and middle places 3-5 times a week. We tried different places, poulet rough is one of the best for bowls with rise and chicken and this one at the same place.

Our experience with mad radish specifically here:
Portion is not as big as you would expect, but it’s more than enough for 1 person.

They have everything for nature, like compostable utensils, cups etc. which is not cheap and by this you support nature

Quality of ingredients is top

And people working specifically in the place are great ❤️“

nutbar

nutbar Health Food •
102 Bloor St W Unit 4, Toronto

“Nutbar is a trendy superfood cafe, with a focus on serving nutrient rich, organic, and wholesome foods. The menu consists of health bars, bowls, salads, toasts, wellness shots, coffee, tea, and smoothies. Note that the prices here are a bit higher compared to other smoothie shops.

I tried the Ultimate Recovery Smoothie ($16.75) and loved it! Made with orangic blueberries, collagen, cashews, matcha, vegan protein powder, chia seeds, barmilk, dates, and sea salt. The ingredients were blended nicely, and it was flavourful, refreshing and filling, making it a perfect on-the-go snack.

The staff was friendly and service was good. The Yorkville location has an airy but warm ambiance, with a good amount of seating.

I'm giving 5 stars for the smoothie itself, but overall 4 stars for the experience because the case storing the health bars had a few flies in it, which was a bit off‑putting.“

“This is Toronto’s best breakfast sandwich place. The most divine bread creation my taste buds have ever experienced. Whenever I’m nearby, I must eat here - resistance is futile. Once I strategically grabbed two at 10am for lunch because I’m a genius.
Dear management: please extend these masterpieces to lunch hours! The lovely lady deserves a raise - honestly, if someone else is making sandwiches, I get nervous about the magic being different.
If you’re heading to Toronto Island, stopping here is mandatory. Get two: BLT and bacon, egg & cheese. You’re welcome.“

Essence of Life Organics Health Food • $$

“I'm a regular here and just wanted to share some thoughts after spending quite a bit of time shopping around 😄 One of the biggest pros is the variety — there are so many options for whatever you're looking for, and the quality is consistently great.
for example, milk — tons of choices. From regular milk to all kinds of milk alternatives, with multiple brands too. Compared to other big-name stores, you can pretty much find everything in one place here.
Even smaller kitchen essentials like cooking oil, baking ingredients, and supplements are well-stocked with high-quality brands. Prices are also super reasonable and affordable, which is a hugeeee plusss!“

“While looking for a gluten-free breakfast spot in Toronto on Find Me Gluten Free, we came across a highly-rated place and decided to give it a try. I must say, this is the best gluten-free and vegan spot I've tried here, especially for the coffee. I ordered a mocha, and it was the best cafe mocha I've ever had. Made with real dark chocolate, it had that distinct bitter taste, complemented by coconut cream and a splash of maple syrup, along with some added spices—it was amazing. We also had steel-cut oats and a chocolate muffin. The muffin was delicious, not overly sweet, gluten-free, and vegan. If you're ever in Downtown Toronto, check this place out; you'll love it.

Vegetarian options: The whole restaurant
is vegetarian and gluten free.“
