We had a very positive experience at Little Sister in a Friday evening. We sat at the bar and shared a few small plates. Cocktails were terrific. Food was very good, pricing was reasonable. The service was friendly and helpful. Loved the vibe.

Excellent tasty food. Good cocktails. Happy Hour ends @ 6:30pm ! Hurray! Great service w a fun vibe! Loved the meat dishes & beef spring rolls . Brussel sprouts were too charred to be enjoyable IMO. 2 floors. Diner vibe loud music. Upstairs seems a bit quieter. Make a reservation. Wish they had traditional Rijstaffel on menu available anytime !!

Cute little restaurant with a cool interior. The food was alright, but not great. Some it was lukewarm and the rice had a burnt flavour. The waiters were kind.

Very bad experience with the speakeasy bar downstairs. I believe the server was the owner of the bar. When we were about to walk in, he didn’t greet us and instead he was just like where are the cards? After we sat down, he came over to take the order but he seemed very impatient, rude and salty when we asked a question. This unprovoked confrontation made us very uncomfortable. When we walked up to the bar to settle the bill, he made a very sarcastic/ awkward comment at the end. Do not go there if you want to avoid being insulted by their Australian owner 🤡

H at XXX is the attraction. Best cocktails in the city, and great bar banter with a legend

Pleasantly surprised by this spot! Everything we ordered was great, very flavourful! We especially loved the brussel sprouts, fried rice, and lamb skewers! Would definitely recommend and come back for another visit.

Ordered multiple items from the happy hour menu. They were generally not hot/fresh and bland. Anything battered and deep fried was not very crispy. The coconut sea bream ceviche was tasty but the taro chips tasted stale. Drinks were solid.

Cute little house tucked away on Portland
…Went for winterlicious and the portions were sooo generous! Everything was delish - recommend the pork belly slaw and chicken entree with nasi goreng and Brussels sprouts.

Friendly staff but so slow service took forever
Beverages ok but nothing exciting
Food disappointing, the steak came cold with cold fries, took forever between courses, really small portions and not so great flavour . Not recommended

First time coming here to try Winterlicious and it did not disappoint! We arrived way earlier than our reservation time but they were kind enough to let us be seated.
We tried the Sea bream Ceviche, Black Tiger Prawns, Roasted Chicken, Chocolate Cheesecake and the Spiced Cake. The food was fresh and flavourful! Absolutely loved the ceviche!
Our server was great and constantly checked in on us! Atmosphere was super cozy and cute (upstairs has beautiful seating!)
Will be back to try other items for sure!

Had a small birthday outing here and it was excellent. We ordered about 7 dishes and everything that we ate was very flavourful. The cocktails were perfect. And the service was very very good.

Food was average, however happy hour drinks were well made. Would revisit for cocktails.

Some places become part of your story, and this one will always be part of ours. Three years ago, it’s where my girlfriend and I shared our very first date. Two days ago, after I asked her to marry me, I brought her back here—now as my fiancée—to celebrate the beginning of our next chapter.
By pure chance (or maybe fate), we were taken care of by the same server/bartender from our first date all those years ago. He made the night feel incredibly intimate and special, setting up a beautiful front booth and surprising us with champagne to celebrate, followed by an appetizer on the house. Those small, thoughtful gestures meant everything and turned an already emotional night into something unforgettable.
The food and drinks were amazing, but the heart behind the service is what truly stood out. Thank you for helping us celebrate such a meaningful moment in our lives. This place will forever be tied to our love story, and we can’t wait to keep coming back. 🥂💍

Went here for a date night and had a great time. The drinks were super light but still gave a buzz with just one - definitely a win! (The sangria served in the puffer fish cup was a standout) The food was good too.
- The pork belly was incredibly tender and full of flavor, no knife needed to cut.
- The steak was overcooked because we didn’t specify how we wanted it cooked, so I’d recommend asking for medium rare when ordering.
I would come back to explore more of their drinks for sure!
