Mak European Delicatessens Reviews
Outstanding sandwich made by amazing European women. Highly recommend.
An absolute gem of a deli with traditional Balkan food, the pasta w/ pljeskavica (I believe it’s called) was unbelievable. The grocery section also has unique items you would be hard pressed to find anywhere else. Mak European Delicatessens is a welcoming store where customers can discover new and exotic foods. The staff is friendly and helpful, explaining the origins of unfamiliar items such as Sremska, Ajvar, and Quince jam. This clean and well-stocked store offers a small eatery that serves fresh Cevapi, which can also be purchased raw in the store's refrigerator. The deli features a variety of harder-to-find meats, like Shinken, and the lunch specials provide a unique dining experience. Customers often recommend the Burek, which is fresh, warm, flaky, and delicious. The combo plate with two different sausages, particularly the small cevapi sausage, is also a favorite. At the back of the deli, customers can enjoy the cooking of experienced chefs, including a dedicated lady who is known for her cleanliness and friendly demeanor. Overall, Mak European Delicatessens is a great place to find specialty foods, enjoy amazing dishes like Cevapi and Burek, and experience new flavors in a vibrant setting.
