“My Wife and I were introduced to this small but, hidden gem, by our In-laws, who are regular patrons. The staff and cooks are amazing. “We had a wonderful meal on the patio at Adega. The service was fantastic. Our server knew everything about the menu and answered all of our questions. From the olives and bread appetizer to the poached Madeira pear dessert, everything was excellent.“

“An acquaintance recommended this place, so I came to see their foods. It’s great quantity and quality! They recommended“1/2 Chicken meal” $16.75 : 1/2 grilled chicken + two sides that you can choose. The portions are so generous that I might be able to enjoy them for two days.“

“Came here for dinner because my mother said it was pretty good. Found that the Chicken was a bit in the dry side, sauce helped s but not def not moist like I would expect from what they specialize in. Portions are generous, and the peri peri hot sauce is the star of the show here, all in all, i wouldn't come back again given the choice of quality restaurants around this area and Toronto in general...“

“Found this restaurant yesterday after an appointment at Humber River hospital . We enjoyed half chicken dinners accompanied by Rice potatoes and Salad . The chicken was cooked on the grill to perfection .The salad was simple but delicious . It felt like a warm home cookjed meal on a cold winters day . The staff were welcoming and friendly and our waitress was attentive to our every need . Ill be back . Thanks“

“We happened upon this restaurant by a recommendation .....omg....what a diamond of a place... enter through the front door on College Street and wander through to the amazing back patio.....the ambience is unbelievable, you are made to feel so comfortable and at home....our server was Peter who was beyond amazing....if you are looking for a place to go I definitely recommend this place......we are from Ottawa way but will be coming back...totally a 10 out of 10“

“Very nice venue with art and decor. Winterlicious Apps and main dish (steak) were a little too salty in my opinion. Noise level was awful with the club next to us. All we heard were vibrating sounds. Insulation of the venue itself was quite poor; cold winds seeping through the walls. We ate dinner with our coats on. Not ideal. The most they could've done was offered us a free coffee.“

“Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I have been going here for like the last 25 years and I hadn't been in a few years so I got the grilled chicken dinner the other night. The chicken was delicious! As were the potatoes and rice! 10/10!“

Title: Exceptional service and a true family atmosphere!
We have been loyal customers at Vila Verde for a long time, and they never fail to make us feel like family. This past Christmas Day was a perfect example of why we keep coming back. Even though the restaurant was busy and certain sections were closed off, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, letting us sit in our favorite spot near the back so we could enjoy a quiet holiday meal.
A special shoutout to our waitress who has been there for years—she is the heart of this place! Her generosity and kindness haven't wavered once in all the time we’ve been coming here. It’s rare to find a restaurant that stays this consistent and actually rewards loyalty. Thank you, Vila Verde, for making our Christmas so special!“
