I had a terrible experience at this coffee shop today. The atmosphere felt unexpectedly hostile. Another customer yelled at me and accused me of harassing them after I simply pointed out that they had cut in front of me in line. They then took out their phone and attempted to record me after I addressed their disrespectful behaviour.
I’ve been coming to this coffee shop for five years, and this was by far the worst encounter I’ve had. The baristas served the individual without realizing I had already been waiting in line. On top of that, another customer began shouting, “be quiet,” unaware that the man who yelled at me was the one being aggressive. I left feeling extremely upset and frustrated with how the situation played out. I did not feel safe in a place that prides itself on being a community-oriented café.
I hope the staff and customers alike can learn to better support one another and uphold the sense of community that this coffee shop claims to value.

Love this place. Have a latte and a scone, or a muffin. Watch folks on the Danforth as they go about their business. Seats are comfortable. You feel welcomed. Hope Red Rocket just stays here forever, and never changes!

Literally unbeatable scones, baked goods, vibes, and quality coffee. Love every location but this one is home! If it’s not your tea move along then, because everyone in this neighbourhood loves this cafe. 🩵

Excellent coffee and bakes on the Danforth. This was my first time at Red Rocket and I was impressed by its cosy charm and selection of baked goods. I went for a latte and blueberry scone and both were excellent, with the scone being one of the best I've ever had (and I've tried a lot of scones). While I was there early and managed to grab a seat, there isn't a lot of space so at busy times I can imagine it will be a bit hit and miss trying to get a seat. Definitely worth a visit and I'll be making my way back if I'm in the neighborhood.

So it’s my last day going to this location as I find, they have about two friendly staff out of the dozens of them.
I have more hopes in the leafs winning the playoffs this coming year than I do with getting unemployed to even crack a smile at you.
Unfriendly, overpriced, and conveniently located in a good spot and is getting good traffic because Starbucks just close up. PS. STARBUCKS EMPLOYEES WERE ACTUALLY NICE.
This place has horrible customer service and I truly hope the owner of all red rocket coffees sees this and does a double take at who they’re hiring because it’s doing damage to your reputation
