It tastes good, I will come again next time 😘

Service - Absolutely amazing service from start to finish. Server paid attention to the guests and provided immaculate service.

Restaurant - Great location and great vibes. It’s a high end restaurant and the ambiance is apt.

Food - They are known for their St. burger which is what my friend tried and said it was pretty good. I had the chicken and it was good too. Something on the plate was a bit salty but overall it was a unique take on a chicken dish and tasted good.

Price - it’s a pricey restaurant but I did not find the food to be worth the price. I paid for an iced tea and the chicken, and my bill was $57. However, the great thing about the restaurant is that you don’t have to tip on top of your total bill. Tip is already included in the meal price so in that sense, I guess it’s a good thing.

Vegetarian options: They had quite a few vegetarian options.

The food was alright. There was not much flavor in the appetizers, the fries had an oily smell. Overall mid food for what I ordered 5/10. They do have a chef menu maybe that taste better. But I think people go there for the atmosphere. They have several course meals and people like that I guess. I just want good food. This place has mid food.

Honestly I am very puzzled about all the good reviews and even wonder if they are real?! We had the tasting menu. 1/2 of the dishes tasted the same. One of the dish has a spicy sauce, we recommend next time maybe can highlight this in the menu like another other restaurant will do. The waiter said there are many ingredients and it is impossible for us to list them all. The tasting menu is about the experience. We were speechless! Spicy is simply a can or cannot thing. It was a frustrating experience. I hope this is not the good food standard in Canada!

I've dined at Richmond Station numerous times over the past three years. The food has always been excellent, and I felt they were snubbed for a Michelin star or Bib Gourmand.

My last experience explains why.

I dined in on a weekday, and the restaurant was pretty empty.

I started with the scallops, and they were delicious. Unfortunately, my meal went downhill after that. Next, I tried the mushrooms, which arrived cold and soggy. The server apologized and had them re-made. The next mushroom batch was undercooked and not crispy, but better than the first. I finished off with the Arctic char. Again, it was served cold, and all of the veggies under the fish were cold. The dessert tart was definitely the lowest point of the meal. For $20, it tasted like a boxed dessert from the freezer section.

My previous experiences at Richmond Station were impeccable, and I've made it a stop every time I've visited Toronto.

Please correct your problems! I still love you and will return the next time I visit Toronto. Hopefully, you will have resolved your issues. I fully intend to delete this review and replace it with high praise.

Staff were amazing. No tipping as it’s all included in the price. It looks a little more expensive but not once you consider this. Some fantastic Ontario wines on the list. Let’s support local all the way.

I think in terms of atmosphere and appearances, it’s a great restaurant but the food itself is nothing to write home about.

They do a great job plating the food, good presentation. But the food is missing something that really elevates the flavour. I just find the food very average, like any major restaurant chain, think beertown, jack astors, etc…

The food is presented elevated but the flavours are just average for the price you pay. I think their price point is mostly based on location and the tipping being included in the price. Otherwise I think pretty much everything on the menu could be $10 cheaper and it’d feel like a better experience.

I had the pumpkin mac and cheese, polenta fries and the stn. Burger. Cant really speak to the other dishes

This restaurant is a solid choice for a networking lunch. The food was flavorful with well-balanced ingredients, and the service was excellent. I opted for the roasted salmon, while my friend enjoyed the vegetarian burger. Both dishes were delicious. Our water glasses were consistently refilled, and our server was attentive and patient throughout the meal.

I was initially surprised by the no-tipping policy, but I was pleasantly impressed by the high level of service we received despite this.

Vegetarian options: Yes, burger and mac and cheese

Our soul purpose of the visit was the food. After checking out their online menu and all the reviews, I really wanted to check out this place. Was able to find a last min spot (reservation at a communal table) and we were welcomed nicely. Our server was extremely pleasant and kind. He was very informative (I don’t remember his name but I will call him Bri) and helpful with his recommendations. The communal table was ok and not disappointing. My cocktail was delicious (made of bourbon) and David’s glass of wine was nice (though expensive 30cad/glass). We ordered couple dishes to share. The scallops were good. We had to wait for a bit for the other appetizers to arrive which I guess they forgot because the carrot salad was very different from the description. It was missing the spicy labneh and the pistachios while it had puffed rice (which was not in the menu). The carrots were not cooked it seems as they were hard (like raw). The Brie was cold (not sure if that’s how it was meant to be). The regular burger was good. The chickpea leek burger tasted like falafel and it was a tiny burger (at 30 cad). The Apple cheesecake was ok. Lot of cream foam and a tiny piece of bread hidden under the ice cream. Overall it was ok. Nothing stood out as a complete dish and the price was pretty high (even though tips were included) for the quantity. It was a very busy Sunday evening so I may give it another try on a less busy day in a few months.
P.S. The pic is of the half burger that I had to take home with me.
