Our server was very nice and pleasant. It's a very busy place, and tables are quite close together. So it's a bit noisy. But not uncomfortable. Food was okay. The beef tartare was very good. Mains are small, decent enough but unspectacular. The burgers are the size of sliders. Fries were soggy. Desserts are crazy expensive, $20 for a small slice of opera cake. Granted it was good, but way over-priced. Not really in a hurry to go back, unless someone else is paying.

Had the chef's tasting menu. Everything was delicious, and the service was unobtrusive, friendly, and welcoming. As far as the food goes, here is a quick breakdown. The meal started with an attractive assortment of canapés. All of them were very tasty, and the perfect introduction to the rest of the meal. The first course was scallop sashimi, which was exceptionally fresh and delicate. Absolutely delicious. I usually order red wine when we eat out, but we decided to try a bottle of dry Riesling instead and it paired perfectly with this dish. Next came the potato velouté which was complex and full of umami. It was fantastic, and a nice contrast to the freshness and lightness of the first course. The third course was braised venison ravioli. It was served with a parmesan mousse and an intense mushroom broth reduction. The broth almost flirted with being too salty, but it was delicious, and I loved the rich intensity of the flavours. The last course was a kind of rabbit sausage, with morel cream, spring onions, and black trumpet mushrooms. My girlfriend said she liked it but that it wasn't her favourite course. I thought it was delicious. Before dessert arrived, they brought an amuse bouche, which was Brie sandwiched between a crispy cracker, that was almost like a crispy, caramelized wafer. Dessert was Black Forest mousse, with preserved cherries. It consisted of both white and dark chocolate mousse, and was very decadent and delicious. Finally, we were served a selection of petit fours on a two-tiered serving plate. It was like a dessert version of the canapés, and a nice way to end the meal. All in all it was a great meal, and I'd definitely give it another try for a special occasion.

Amazing food and cocktails. Relaxed atmosphere without having to be dressy. 10/10 would visit again.

There are two dining areas, and we were seated in the one that's not as awesome for ambience, the first floor. If you're dining here, ask for a seat on the second floor which is much better in my opinion. The food was delicious, so that was a plus. I had the Mushroom soup and my husband had the Duo of Duck. There isn't a lot of variety in this menu, like one fish, one chicken, one veggie option etc. I don't think I'd return because of that. Maybe they could add specials for weekends. I had the Brie appetizer as a dessert which was tasty, but seemed to be a third of a brie, maybe half. I would've liked the whole wheel as we were sharing amongst four of us.Vegetarian options: I would have liked to see more vegetarian options for entrees.

From the drinks to the dessert, our meal was amazing! The beef TarTar was super flavourful and the burger was one of the best I’ve ever had in the city. It was cooked medium rare which made it even better. The Dessert was recommended by the staff, The Spiced Parsnip Cake. It probably was the best dessert we’ve had all year as we did not know what to expect. The staff and atmosphere were also amazing !!!! Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

The atmosphere was great, and the apps were also really good, actually the best part. The pate was delightful and came with fresh, hearty bread. Understandably, this isn't really a place that caters to kids, but they do have a kids menu. It's not the best and could use some attention, as the kids' burger my son tried to eat was decimated. I had the Suckling Pig entree, and since we were there for Easter, it seemed like a play on Easter Ham. Unfortunately, it was just a chunk of ham, so a little disappointing. Overall, we had a good time, though.
